Letto Annual #3 e già che c'ero pure #42

Devo dire che ho gradito tutto! Anche se la testata avrà vita breve con me, diciamo che non fa per me, ma vedere certi momenti con il nuovo Bats, poi nell'Annual il ehm "meeting" con Dick, insomma andava letto!
Ovviamente straaa vince l'annual!

Se non sbaglio il #42 o almeno io l'ho letto così!

Bengal, David LaFuente, Ming Doyle, and Ming Jue Helen Chen make up the roster of like-minded artists who draw Batgirl Annual #3. The individual looks of the artists may vary greatly, but it's those stylistic sensibilities of fun and expressiveness that make this lineup ultimately gel -- even if an occasional artistic transition can be jarring. Bengal draws the main part of the story, an almost-reunion between Barbara and Dick. That story is fun and works well, but the issue starts to fall apart once Batgirl teams up with other Bat-characters in the other parts of the story. Instead of feeling like a consistent plot, it just starts to feel like an advertisement for DC's other Gotham books. As such, it sucks all the good-will out of the first story and makes the whole experience of the book feel a little weird – why charge $4.99 for what would have been a great Free Comic Book Day sampler book? -Levi

Batgirl #42 (Published by DC Comics; Review by Jake Baumgart; 'Rama Rating: 8 out of 10):

The great thing about Batgirl #42 is how Babs Tarr's art continues to impress this deep into her run as artist on the title. Channeling the same kinetic spirit as Brian Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim, Tarr is able to transform simple action beats into character-rich moments for Batgirl. In Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher's interpretation of the titular character, the woman behind the mask is usually more interesting than Batgirl herself. It's a shame that so little time is spent with Barbara over Batgirl in this issue. In wrapping up the story from Batgirl #41, there wasn't a lot of space given to Babs' personal life behind the mask. However, the few beats given to flashbacks of Barbara's relationship with her father where actually handled deftly, and feature an almost manga-like quality that keeps this book light and fun.
