Ok numero un po' debole rispetto al solito, ma comunque molto bello! Più che altro, con tutti questi MM si fa fatica a capire il pg e quello che vuole veramente, poi ovviamente non sto contando tutto il casino con Marte/Terra e lo space time continuum

The first arc of Martian Manhunter was a prime example of how to do the six-part superhero story. They paced that arc in such a brilliant and thrilling way that you couldn't fathom how it ultimately wound up ending with Earth's destruction. Volume 2 of Martian Manhunter doesn't appear to be off to quite the same propulsive start; instead of picking up where the momentum of volume 1 left off, they seem to be starting from scratch and building up a whole tempo. It's not a bad thing - in fact this is still one of DC's best books - but the way this second storyline is both borrowing from, and fully recreating elements of the first volume (the crux of this issue is that the villain needs to recreate the event that just happened two issues ago) is kind of disappointing. –Levi

Martian Manhunter is a series in which multiple worlds hang in the balance, yet despite that scope, the series is at its best when it just focuses in on one character. That character is Martian Manhunter, and after almost a year, he is finally becoming whole again. The worlds threatening conflict has never been the draw here, it's been the characterization and wild personality as written by Rob Williams. This series lost sense of that for a few issues, but now it's back with all the emotional gut-punches and wild twists you could want. Eddy Barrows has been just as important to this book's success, so it's great to see that the inclusion of additional artists doesn't diminish the book's visual impact. These three artists all flow well into each other's styles. It feels like Martian Manhunter is quickly racing towards a conclusion and it's heartening to see it ending as well as it started. –Levi
