Poi dall'altra parte, hai un fottuto perdente che prende tutto alla leggera, smerda Watchmen, tratta i pg come carta igienica e rende tutto dannatamente banale e ovviamente manda il lore DC a puttane.

Ma, pensavo, con l'inserimento del Metaverso a me è venuto subito in mente che ogni team creativo crea un universo a sé.
Ma questa cosa con Snyder è accentuata anche dalla scelta di Capullo.
Mi piace come artista, ma davvero quando guardo le sue tavole non riesco ad inserirle nel classico universo DC; i personaggi, come li inquadra, le loro movenze... è dalla corte dei gufi che mi sembra una cosa a sé. E secondo me Snyder lo ha capito e ci sta ricamando su da Anno Zero.
che poi già con gente più blasonata c'è questo stridore... per dire, seguire il Batman di Morrison e quello di Dini in contemporanea (ed ero ad inizio passione comics) era proprio strano... sembravano due mondi diversi che si ignoravano a vicenda.
Recuperando materiale passato (tipo Terra di Nessuno-Assassino-Fuggitivo ecc...) mi sembravano serie e storie ben amalgamate fra loro.
Insomma sto Metaverso o Hypertime o come lo chiamano è il vero salvagente DC   

Indubbiamente, una vera manna dal cielo.

Magari non è nemmeno un caso, nella sua JL c'era un po' di DragonBall del resto (più che altro per via di Jimenez, but still) e Snyder è totalmente in grado di includere una roba simile.

Non per dire i told you so, però daaamn, è triste sapere che ci avevo visto bene...

Snyder parla per 40 minuti di...Death Metal, dove "spoilera" un bel po' di cose, perchè è ANCHE così che si vendono i comics, believe it or not.

Minuto 16:37, rivela che aveva piani per scrivere una testata sulla JSA, ma che alla fine ora "non può fare" per chissà quali ragioni, in cuor mio, spero solo che il progetto sia andato in mano a Geoff e Hitch.

A 27:50 la gente con cui sta twitchando praticamente gli ride in faccia quando menziona la cagata che ha fatto col Batman who keks, loool.

A 30:40 invece rivela che ha sempre voluto usare Superboy Prime e lo farà in Death Metal, anche se tecnicamente non dovrebbe essere il classico Superboy Prime, però...

Poi spiega il plot di Death Metal e...meglio non dire altro.

Poi dice che la gente può usare la Corte dei Gufi quanto vuole, lui non lo farà e io mi chiedo perchè????
È l'unica cosa decente che ha fatto, c'è ancora tanto potenziale imho, specialmente in Lincoln March!

Vabbo, comunque sia, ora che ci siamo lasciati alle spalle un vs. tra le due DC, una di Didio e una di Geoff, ora che abbiamo perso Didio...siamo davanti ad un Snyder vs. Geoff, ma per ragioni diverse.
Paradossalmente perchè Snyder ADORA Geoff, così come ADORA Morrison.
Solo che Morry, a differenza di Geoff, ormai non scrive molto per la DC e non ha piani a lungo termine, quindi Snyder non ostacola mai niente e non gli calpesta i piedi, al massimo cerca di riciclare le sue storie.

Stessa cosa con Geoff eh, solo che...sigh, prendiamo JSA o Superboy Prime.
Snyder è da tipo 10 anni che scrive per la DC, poco prima del reboot, e questi pg non vengono usati da quel momento.
Aveva tutto il tempo del mondo e non ha mai fatto un cazz, nè lui e nemmeno la DC (sort of).
Poi arriva Geoff, ANNI dopo col Rebirth e post-DClock, ripesca Superboy Prime in Shazam! e la JSA durante Rebirth/DClock, compresa anche la LOSH e SBAM, all'improvviso tutti si vogliono attaccare al suo ****.
LOSH in mano a Bendis.
A momenti JSA in mano a Snyder, anzi..i pg sì, testata magari ancora no, stessa cosa per Superboy Prime.

A volte pare che lo faccia per ripicca, perchè viene trascurato dal suo Senpai, altre volte solo perchè vuole emularlo.
Alla fine non è come Didio, anzi pare solo essere un fanboy.

Ora mi chiedo -e non capiterà mai, but still- se per qualche ragione anchio finissi per scrivere per la DC, con Geoff ancora come un writer attivo, magari con Morry già in pensione.
Farei la stessa cosa pure io? Sarei uno schifoso Snyder 2.0. o avrei un briciolo di self-awarness???

E sinceramente? L'impressione che mi han dato è quello di essere un ripiego  del Generation in vista di un maxirilancio terminata la miniserie.

L'unica storia che non ho schifato è quella di Ennis col baby Bruce e di 2 pagine.

Generalmente Tomasi mi piace, e le matite di Rossmo spaccano, ma... Bho, per come ha hyppato 'sto Robin King, alla fine non vale un cazzo, è solo un edgy kid del piffero, hard pass.

Mentre Snyder...che dire, è la solita storia, come storyteller ci sa fare, la sua visione globale del pg di Bats è anche giusta o comunque molto vicina alla mia, ma ancora una volta, usa idee di merda per raccontare le sue storie.
Ancora una volta, mostra quanto sia creatively bankrupt.
Disse che si sarebbe tenuto lontano da Watchmen, ma alla fine...erano solo balle e mostra anche di non aver capito niente della storia di Moore ed è andato a fare la cosa più banale possibile.

Rao mio, storie di questo tipo ti fanno capire quanto siamo stati fortunati col DClock di Geoff.
Ci sono voluti 30 anni, ma è con Geoff che abbiamo avuto il PRIMO crossover Watchmen/DC, che culo.

Vi immaginate cosa sarebbe venuto fuori se fosse finito in mano a gente come Snyder o Bendis?
