Marvel's cosmic books have excelled over the last several years due to a combination of fun, clever writing and beautiful art. Both of those things are true about this volume of Star-Lord, but enough has been said about the goofy approach to the writing, so let's talk art here. Javier Garron is an artist who excels at character work, and his characters here are always a draw. His human faces communicate emotion in over-the-top, but ultimately relatable ways - you can't help but smile anytime Peter Quill is on panel. Garron's aliens designs all really excel due to his clean, simple designs. And a lionshare of credit goes to colorist Antonio Fabela, these Marvel cosmic books all have top-notch coloring, and it's the dynamic and bold colors that really make space come alive in this book. Star-Lord #3 is another fun issue of the series, with some gorgeous space art. –Levi
