But at the same time enough time has passed where people are thinking 'is it continuing?' So when we come back, and we have some issues in the drawer, that we're really releasing the second half of the story. Luckily it kind of ended on a emotional sort of, not high point, but in the first half of the story it gave you a sense of completion at the end because Batman has accepted Robin as his sidekick essentially and the second half of the story will obviously deal with the mystery of why Robin's parents were killed and how the Joker fit into all of this. I am working on drawing it. There's some killer Gotham City spreads. You know we did that whole Batcave pull out where you could see the whole Batcave and all the cool stuff in it. I'm doing a five page Gotham City pull out where your gonna see the whole city from the Batcopters point of view. It's dynamite. There's some killer stuff in it."

è quello che dicevo io in un altro topic in cui si criticava Miller per la lentezza in ASB&R. Frankie aveva già annunciato di aver scritto almeno fino al 13... maledetto Jim Leento.
Per lo meno sappiamo che il progetto va avanti, e la pagina-poster di Gotham stile Batcave già mi fa godere

Ripeto: questo fumetto è ambientato in una terra parallela, la stessa di Spawn/Batman, Ritorno del Cavaliere Oscuro e Cavaliere Oscuro Colpisce Ancora. La continuity di questa terra condivide con quella ufficiale solo Anno Uno, che vale sia per la Terra 1 (quella del Batman mensile, per intenderci) sia per la terra di All Star Batman e Robin.

In un'intervista recente su Multiversity Morrison ha detto che una mappatura ufficiale non esiste e che prima o poi servirà...

Me la son riletta in italiano l'altro giorno.
Sono follemente innamorato di questa serie, è una delle cose più deliranti e folli che abbia mai letto. QUESTA rappresenta una vera prova d'amore nei confronti del personaggio, altro che Gaiman di 'sta ceppa.
E adesso si va alla conquista degli albetti.

Non l'avrei posta in questi termini, ma quoto. 
Come cacchio si fa a dire che Miller scrive male!?

QUESTA rappresenta una vera prova d'amore nei confronti del personaggio, altro che Gaiman di 'sta ceppa.

Ora non esagererei.
Come ognuno di noi percepisce batman in un modo, anche ogni autore ha il diritto di scriverlo come più se lo sente.
Miller non ha fatto altro che calcare la mano su alcuni aspetti del pipistrello.
Obbiettivamente lo ha stravolto e trasformato in qualcosa che con il batman comune c'entra poco/nulla.
Che poi piaccia tanto, o non piaccia per nulla, sono i gusti di ogni lettore che si può far coinvolgere o meno: con me ad esempio è successo, e questo batman mi ha esaltato, perchè l'ho attualizzato... mi sono immaginato io, con un constume fighissimo, attrezzature fantascientifiche, miliardario, superaddestrato, che ripuliva la zona di merda dove abito... e mi sarei comportato esattamente come fa questo batman... senza scupoli, violento, sadico... da terrore puro...
Però c'è anche gente che tutto questo non l'ha percepito, e s'è scandalizzata perchè non rivede in questo personaggio il Batman che hanno letto per anni e anni...

Personalmente Kissene' della pagina poster quanto era grande quella della batcaverna?
6 pagine???  invece di fare una gotham gigante il tempo per qll sei pagine può essere usato per disegnare 1/4 di un altro numero
