Peccato. Speravo che fosse proprio la serie Wolverine a cambiare titolo in "Wolverine & x-men", così sarebbe stato molto più facile per me tagliarla. Invece così diventa un problema.

After 14 issues, the Wolverine Goes To Hell is finally closed, and ALL is explained within this conclusion. We all know why Red Right Hand has gone through the trouble to take revenge on Wolverine, but what's the final "kick in the pants" to old Logan?

Wolverine has survived and come back from hell, ran through a gauntlet of villains, and he's finally reached the Red Right Hand. Who gets revenge by the final page, Wolverine or Red Right Hand?
The Good

As you may know, I've been a big supporter of this book since the first issue, and in many reviews I make a statement like this: "I'm usually not a fan of Wolverine, but this is a darn good book." This issue blows all the rest out of the water. It has, flat-out, one of the coolest reveals, and some great twists and turns as you go through the issue. Without spoiling anything, about 5 panels before there is a big reveal, you kind of catch on, but it's still a really cool twist. I REALLY want to tell you guys what's going on at the end of the issue, but I simply can't.

I think I'm at a point where if Jason Aaron was writing a on-going "Last Days of FDR" comic, where each issue was one minute in the last day of his life, I'd read it in a heartbeat... Maybe I should have went with My Little Pony for an example. I loved the pacing in this issue. It flowed extremely well, and it had some great transitions between one boy's story and the Red Right Hand moving forward with their final act.

Have to mention a couple other things about the issue before we move on. Jae Lee and June Chung have been doing some AMAZING work on the covers for this book. Some of the best cover art I've seen in years. Also, Renato Guedes (pencils), Jose Wilson Magalhaes (inks), and Matthew Wilson (colors) are "killing it" on the art. This is a great creative team, and I really hope they continue working on the book together.
The Bad

The fact I refuse to spoil the ending for you guys.
The Verdict

I cannot wait to see what happens in the next story arc now that this one is over. This is the best Wolverine has been in years. Overall, it's an amazing wrap-up to a story I was very skeptical about, at first, but all the pieces fell into place and it was awesome. The art and writing are spectacular on this issue, and that includes the cover. I highly recommend this issue and this story arc.

La conclusione del #14 è proprio una bastardata, nel senso che spiazza il lettore in una maniera allucinante: sembrava che Aaron stesse annoiando con questo ultimo ciclo, e poi se ne esce con una genialata così. Chapeau.
