Molto belli i disegni di Scott, in DC spaccano, tutti autori di buon/ottimo livello, e sono da notare anche la qualità dei colori, in Marvel sono sempre più spesso dozzinali e banali, in DC invece molto curati.

Finita di leggere, mini molto carina, Rucka prende un gruppo di personaggi di serie B, anzi, C e li scrive da Dio in una storia che davvero ha solo momenti alti, mai un calo.
Scott in forma mostruosa, disegna una Chesire davvero sexy, per non parlare di Barbara Ann e Diana, favolose.
Non conoscevo i personaggi di Hazard e Featherweight, ma mi sono piaciuti molto, inoltre mai mi sarei aspettato di risentire il nome di Nyssa.
Penso che Death and the Maidens sia stata una delle prime storie lette da quando ho iniziato a seguire Batman in italiano con regolarità (parliamo dello spillato Batman Magazine dove veniva appunto pubblicata questa storia ed Hush ).

Una curiosità, secondo voi questa storia dove si colloca temporalmente? Non seguo JL, ma a pelle direi tra Absolute Power e la fine del primo lungo story arc di King

Per quanto mi riguarda, anche io vorrei rivedere di più Rucka in DC, ma non su gestioni lunghe e soprattutto su personaggi nuovi, basta Batman e Wonder Woman, ha già dato tanto.

P.S. Curioso anche l'adattamento del titolo che in inglese è Justice League: C&C rob the watchtower, che tradotto ed adattato era C&C furto alla torre di guardia, ma immagino che spiaccicare il nome della JL in copertina attira di più.

In realtà se togli le varie mini e qualche numero One shot non è poi tanto, io vorrei una run completa ad esempio su Detective comics di almeno un paio di anni continuativi , ma so già che non accadrà mai

In quel periodo scriveva pure Superman e Wonder Woman; direi che sia giustificata la sua ridotta presenza nelle testate del Pipistrello.
