DC proudly presents a new 12-issue maxiseries debuting this October by Tom King (Mister Miracle) and Jorge Fornés (Batman), together delivering a new vision of one of the most riveting characters from Watchmen—a figure in a fedora and a trench coat, loved by some, reviled by others—Rorschach.

It's been 35 years since Ozymandias was exposed for dropping a giant telepathic squid on New York City, killing thousands and ending the public's trust in heroes once and for all. The Minutemen are gone; only their memory lives on. Especially the infamy of Rorschach, who has become a cultural icon since Dr. Manhattan turned him to dust.

Writer Tom King joins forces with artist Jorge Fornés to explore the mythic qualities of one of the most compelling characters from the bestselling graphic novel of all time, Watchmen.

Rorschach #1, by Tom King, Jorge Fornés, Dave Stewart and Clayton Cowles, will publish on October 13, 2020, and carry DC's Black Label descriptor, identifying the content as appropriate for readers ages 17+. The book will retail for $4.99 with card stock cover artwork by Fornés and a variant cover by Jae Lee.

Ora, questo non è esattamente come l'avevo pensato io, perchè King avrebbe dovuto scrivere il pg, e bho, magari lo farà, ma alla fine...sarà qualcosa...sarà differente, ecco...

Probabilmente non avrà nessun legame con DClock e...onestamente non mi dispiace affatto, è meglio se sia Geoff a portare avanti quella storia...SEMMAI dovrà essere portata avanti.
Anche perchè, basta vedere quello che sta facendo Snyder con Death Metal, meglio non aggiungere altro...

Io si, per ora non mi ha mai deluso se non un pizzico nel finale di HiC per ciò che subisce editorialmente un personaggio storico come Wally.
Ad oggi tra i giovani lo ritengo il miglior scrittore in circolazione. Ammetto che avrei preferito vederlo altrove che su Rorschach, ma l'hype rimane altissimo.

Per come la vedo io, toccare questi personaggi è rischioso..Però King sui pipponi se la cava (Bats a parte, per me..)

Io sono tra i pochi che non ha trovato scadente NULLA di ciò vhe è stato creato del Watchmen Universe (per farvi capire, a me le miniserie del BEFORE Watchmen sono piaciute tutte molto, idem la serie tv ecc), non vedo perché debbano scagare ora.

Se ti riferisci a  Batman/Catwoman lì non so cosa stia succedendo, non credo sia colpa sua, non mi sembra un autore lento.
Su una regular lo spero anch'io, ma la vedo dura, sembra aver preso la via delle maxi...

A me preoccupa più che sia ambientata in quel mondo, esattamente nel futuro. Cioè il nostro oggi.
Posso accettare tranquillamente le versioni alternative di mondi paralleli di salcazzolandia, ma quando dici praticamente che è nella continuity della bibbia dei comics, stai entrando in un terreno  che è un campo minato, sabbie mobili e zona di guerra tutta insieme.

Ma King è un ex agente della CIA quindi per lui è pane quotidiano questo.

Mi preoccupa più che altro che Alan Moore gli faccia il malocchio
