In quel caso avrebbe detto cose ovvie, chiunque dotato di mezzo neurone funzionante, sa che vengono fatte per quel motivo, poi che il mondo sia potenzialmente popolato da microcefali è tristemente vero se certe cose hanno successo, ma basta vedere come va il mondo per capirlo, senza che Brevoort lo ammetta.

In ogni caso quello che ha fatto con King per me è sbagliato e ha fatto una pessima figura, poi che sia un personaggio abituato a fare certe uscite, non le giustifica, al massimo mi viene da pensare che è un mezzo pallone gonfiato, così a pelle.

Certamente è il segreto di pulcinella, ma quello che fa un certo scalpore (ed è una cosa vecchia di anni fa) è arrivare al tal punto di avere la sfacciataggine di poter dire certe cose così apertamente...
Della serie "sì, vi prendiamo per il culo, continuate pure a cascare in questi tranelli del cazzo però eh!".

Poi magari è vero, è solo lui che fa così, infatti non sta simpatico a nessuno, questa sua uscita non mi ha sorpreso per niente e inutile dire che anche secondo me ha fatto...boh, non so nemmeno se abbia senso dire figuraccia? Che reputazione vuoi che abbia uno così? Ha fatto quello che fa da anni, capirai...

New 'Super Sons' Comic Book Series Starring Superboy and Robin by Peter J. Tomasi and Max Raynor Launches December 14!

This December, the Super Sons return! Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne—DC's World's Finest Friends—are back in an action-packed new comic book series from writer Peter J. Tomasi (Detective Comics, Super Sons, Batman & Robin)! DC's new series, Challenge of the Super Sons, debuts digitally on December 14, 2020, with the first of fourteen 99-cent chapters.

Picking up where Tomasi's sensational Super Sons and Adventures of the Super Sons left off, Damian and Jon—the assassin-trained son of Batman and the boy-next-door son of Superman—tackle their greatest threat ever: the deadly DOOM SCROLL. Whoever (whomever? We can never tell) has their name inscribed on this ancient and magical parchment will be killed post-haste. Now, the evil powers-that-be have written the names of the Justice League on the deadly doc, and Superboy and Robin are the only ones who can save their dads from certain doom! The catch? No one can know it was the boys that saved them.

DC's Super Sons saga began in 2017 when Tomasi and Jorge Jiménez launched Super Sons within DC's Rebirth line of comics. Challenge of the Super Sons picks up directly after 2018's Adventures of the Super Sons maxi-series left off—the boys are, indeed, back in town.

"Stories about Jon and Damian at this time in their lives allows me to tap back into those early years of my own life of being a crazy kid, while also allowing me to mine the fertile ground of my own son's current adventures," said Tomasi, "which in turn helps keep me tapped into the general zeitgeist of today's youth and what they're going through and thinking about. Jon and Damian are so different—the angel and the devil on your shoulder so to speak—with each one having such a distinctive backstory and perspective that the drama between them is organic and damn easy to bring to life on the page. Best of all, it's a helluva lotta fun!"


Tomasi joins forces in this third Super Sons volume with artist Max Raynor (Batman/Superman), with additional guest spots by Jorge Corona (We Are Robin) and Evan Stanley (Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Boom), for another romp through the DC universe alongside everyone's favorite Super Sons! Cover artwork for the  new series is by Jorge Jiménez.

Challenge of the Super Sons debuts digitally on December 14, 2020, with the first of fourteen weekly 99-cent chapters. There will be a season break in the middle of the publishing run.

Sarà un digital questa volta e ambientato poco dopo le ultime storie di Tomasi, lo sapevo, ma hey..questo è un primo passo per riavere il vecchio Jon, ormai conosco bene l'andazzo e qua loro stanno testando le acque, quindi bisogna shoppare!

Suicide Squad gets a new DC ongoing series

DC announced writer Robbie Thompson, who is writing the main story in the two-issue Future State: Suicide Squad series, will write a new Suicide Squad ongoing series beginning March.

He'll be joined by artist Eduardo Pansica.

Suicide Squad's last 'ongoing' series ended with November's Suicide Squad #11 and it's no surprise a new series will launch considering James Gunn's film adaptation is due in theaters and on HBO Max in August.

And judging by the cover Peacemaker's role in the film (played by Jon Cena who is also getting an HBO Max spin-off streaming series) seems to be carrying over to the new series.

One character missing, however, appears to be Harley Quinn, a mainstay of the book since 2011's 'New 52.'

Swamp Thing Returns in New Ongoing DC Series

DC Comics has announced that Swamp Thing will be headlining a new ongoing series set to be published following the DC Future State event.

The new Swamp Thing series will be written by Ram V and illustrated by Mike Perkins, with color art by Mike Spicer and lettering by Aditya Bidikar. "The word's out! I'm writing a new Swamp Thing series [at DC Comics] in 2021...," Ram V wrote on Twitter. "An absolute pleasure to say #SwampThing #1 drops in March, hot on the heels of Future State. Come follow us into the green."
This was also announced at the Future State: Justice League panel at the CCXP Worlds: A Journey of Hope! convention. DC revealed a first look at the cover for Swamp Thing #1. The cover features Swamp Thing violently erupting from pores in a man's body. Whether this is Alec Holland or a new protagonist remains to be seen. The character's last comic book run was a limited six-issue series in 2016 written by Swamp Thing co-creator Len Wein and drawn by artist Kelley Jones.

Swamp Thing is the alter ego of scientist Alec Holland, who appeared to die when criminals raided his lab looking for the secret of his bio-regenerative formula. Holland merged with the plant life in the swamp near his lab, gaining a connection to the elemental force known as the Green. The character has been the focus of several comic book runs, including the critically acclaimed Saga of the Swamp Thing by Alan Moore. He also was the focus of several films and a short-lived TV series.

Swamp Thing #1 goes on sale March 2021 from DC Comics.

E boh, qualcosa mi dice che: così come Mister Miracle di King era la risposta DC al Vision della Marvel sempre scritto da King...ebbene, Swamp Thing di Ram V potrebbe essere la risposta DC al The Immortal Hulk di Al Ewing, vedremo!

Chiamatelo un mio gut-feeling, perchè non ho ancora letto un cazz di Hulk, comunque sia, Ram V promette bene, personalmente l'ho già messo nella mia squadra di autori fidati insieme a Williamson!

Da come ne parlavano, sembra che in questa "nuova era DC" non ci sarebbe stato spazio per certi pg, e meno male che non è così.
Lanciare ongoing su Teen Titans e Swamp Thing vorrà pur dire qualcosa azz...

Mentre Suicide Squad e GL lo davo per scontato.
Molto sorpreso che la GL non sia finita in mano a Bendis tho, ma allora che cazz scriverà? Flash? Spero di no...
Inoltre questi sono, relativamente parlando, tutti dei nuovi writers, quelli vecchi che fine fanno?

Pollice verso per Robbie Thompson che è uno dei peggiori scrittori letti negli ultimi anni...anche se la sua ultima mini sulla famiglia Skrull non era niente male.

Mi ispira molto invece questo Swamp Thing.
Se mi dite che Ram V è bravo...Perkins sulle atmosfere horror va davvero forte aveva fatto un gran lavoro sulla serie di Carnage qualche anno fa.

Gli autori di Green Lantern così come quelli dei Titans non li conosco, sono curioso.
