EDIT: Il King attuale andrebbe bene su una.serie su Swampy per la Vertigo.

Il suo One-Shot su Swamp Thing con Fabok mi piacque molto.

Batman #66 (Published by DC Comics; Review by David Pepose; 'Rama Rating: 8 out of 10):

Writer Tom King and artist Jorge Fornes take a trip down memory lane in Batman #66, and while there's some repetitiveness from this look back at Bruce and Selina's failed wedding, it's hard to deny just how gorgeous this issue truly is. Using the Question as a surrogate for the heartbroken Batman, you immediately sense this character's obsessive and twisting mindset is a strong fit for King's writing style - to be honest, this issue alone feels like a strong audition for King's next book after Mister Miracle. That said, while the Question's line of interrogation eventually uncovers a new layer behind Selina's departure, the breakdown of Batman as a philosophical proof (particularly with the breakdown of the wedding scene) feels like a well that King has already tapped before, particularly in his Mister Freeze arc. But that said, if you're going to repeat yourself, you could do worse than teaming up with Fornes, who continues his best riff on David Mazzucchelli here. Like King, Fornes' best work is with the Question - even for a guy without a face, the Question looks as expressive as ever. Without its guest star, this issue might not have worked, but King and Fornes pull out a win in Batman #66.

Io attendo che si levi per ricominciare a leggere Batman. Ci ho provato due volte, con i primi tre archi (che ho trovato insipidi) e con il matrimonio (una oscenità non da poco).
Ho persino cominciato a pensare che forse il Batman che piace a me non esiste (più?) nelle sue on-going.

Sul serio, fate finire in fretta a quest'uomo la sua run ed andiamo avanti. E anche grazie a lui se ci ritroviamo quello schifo di Rick. Anche se si vocifera in un ritorno di quello vero al termine di City of Bane.

Non ne posso più di questa versione di Batman, avrei quasi preferito che avesse ripreso il discorso con Wondie pre-matrimonio ed avesse fatto capire a Bruce che può essere felice anche con altre donne.

Chissà, magari. Johns ha sempre trovato il personaggio iconico ed in CI l'unico a volerlo morto era Didio, che odia per qualche strano motivo i Titani. Anzi, Johns gli ha fatto anche compiere un gesto molto eroico.
L'unica cosa riguardo Dick e Joker è che tutti dimenticano Last Laugh. Ok, evento orribile, ma è l'unica storia in cui

Nah per me i giochi Arkham, film animati ecc... mi hanno sempre tenuto la fiamma accesa, quindi provo ancora gli stessi sentimenti, infatti un po' mi dispiace non avere Jason come il vecchio Red Hood, l'ultima volta l'avrò visto nella gestione di Morry e stop.
