DC Developing Live-Action METROPOLIS TV Series Revolving Around Lois Lane And Lex Luthor

CitazioneMetropolis, a live-action show developed by DC for its new digital service.

That launches later this year and will bring Titans with it but this show is targeting a 2019 debut and the first season will consist of thirteen episodes. Gotham executive producers John Stephens and Danny Cannon are writing the story (which could be cause for concern depending on how much you like that show) and will serve as executive producers on the project. Stephens will write the pilot and Cannon will direct but don't fret, we won't see a ten-year-old Clark running around saving the day!

Instead, Metropolis is going to revolve around Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane and the villainous Lex Luthor in the years before Superman arrived in the city. That means he'll still be off in Smallville doing his own thing and won't appear in the show. That could change given time but it seems DC is looking to put the focus solely on Lois and Lex's respective journies before they met the iconic DC Comics hero.

The logline says the show will follow "Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city's dark and bizarre secrets." Does that mean they're working together?

A me basta che non ci siano si mezzo la CW Berlanti, per il resto mi va benisssimo, curioso di saperne di più. :)

Se fosse veramente come Fringe (serie che adoravo), sarebbe bellissimo! :zuzu:
Ma ne dubito altamente, secondo me lo fanno solo per aggiungere un po' di contenuti al loro nuovo servizio streaming. :ahsisi:

Mi pare una versione parallela di Gotham, come idea di base.
La notizia mi spiazza, onestamente: se un progetto come la serie sul passato della città di Batman la salutavo fin dall'inizio in modo positivo, perché mi pareva fosse un'idea con un suo perché, qui sono molto più dubbioso sulle potenzialità di un progetto del genere...

Io non ho parole,come minimo non ci devono più tartassare sul non poter usare i pg dei film per le serie TV.
