A me è piaciuta la parte (totalmente nerd) in cui ha citato Green Lantern e il motto alla base del personaggio ("No Fear") per giustificare le sue scelte come scrittore. "Se avessi avuto paura non avrei scritto Flash dopo Waid.. " grande.  :D

Su Bleedingcool rivelano che il logo di Brightest Day verrà "usato" da un personaggio prominente, e aggiungono che non sarà nè Kyle Rainer nè una Lanterna Verde.

"Brightest Day' is about second chances. I think it's been obvious from day one that there are major plans for the heroes and villains from Aquaman to take center stage in the DC Universe, among many others, post-Blackest Night. 'Brightest Day' is not a banner or a vague catch-all direction for the DC Universe, it is a story. Nor is 'Brightest Day' a sign that the DC Universe is going to be all about 'light and brighty' superheroes. Some second chances work out...some don't."

Erano solo nomi che descrivevano la stessa cosa: il gorgogliare, il vorticare e lo zampillare di protoplasma, illuso che ci sia un senso al mondo.. non c'è nessun senso.. c'è solo carne e morte..

Sembra quasi che Johns avesse letto alcuni messaggi qui sul forum. :lol:
Geoff, ci leggi?  :D

Tra l'altro la "luminosità" di cui si parla sempre, quando si descrivono le storie di Johns, non deve essere fraintesa, nel senso che nelle sue storie il bene trionfa sì, ma dopo lunghe peripezie. I suoi eroi (basta leggere Flash Rebirth, ma anche Green Lantern) trionfano dopo aver attraversato il buio (anche interiore), il male, il dolore. Ma alla fine scelgono il bene, consapevolmente. E' un trionfo della luce sulla notte.. ma la notte bisogna attraversarla. Per cui questo rischio di "banalizzazione" di fatto non c'è MAI stato.  ;)
