Numero meraviglioso, questa nuova serie mi sta prendendo più di quanto mi aspettassi quando l'ho cominciata, fantastico dalla prima all'ultima pagina.

It feels like there's a worthwhile comic lurking somewhere beneath the surface of Weapon X, but it has yet to actually rear its head. The best that can be said for the young series is that the core team dynamic is strong. Greg Pak writes fun team banter, and the addition of Amadeus Cho to the mix only helps that dynamic. Cho and Sabretooth in particular make for a good pair. Sadly, there's little to like when it comes to the general conflict here. Weapon X still feels like "X-Force Lite," failing to establish the reformed Weapon X as a compelling threat or building excitement for the impending "Weapons of Mutant Destruction" crossover. The reveal of the secret mastermind behind this new threat is also a disappointment, as Pak seems to be returning to a well that's all but run dry by now. Nor does the art do much to salvage the underwhelming story. Greg Land relies on the same, familiar, recycled poses and faces here, and most of the fight sequences feel overly cluttered rather than dynamic. Clearly, there are a number of fundamental problems that need to be addressed as the series wraps up its first story arc. -Jesse

Letto Weapons of Mutant Destruction #1

Molto buono, ma a giudicare dalla scaletta di questo crossover, pare evidente che Pak abbia diluito il tutto.
La storia di base, questo Hulkverine, mi pare un po' trashosa, quindi sarebbe meglio passare oltre il più presto possibile, ma tutto il resto legato a Weapon X e il main villain rimane comunque molto interessante.

, si prospetta una battaglia cazzuta per i 5 mutanti.
Disegni un po' sottotono nonostante le varie scene apprezzabilissime, dialoghi divertenti dati dalle varie battute di Logan e Amadeus, e soprattutto non hanno la minima idea chi sia il nemico.
Quello che non so è se convenga recuperare anche i due nn. di Hulk coinvolti.

Mi piace il fatto che Pak abbia deciso di esplorare il "lato umano" di questa Weapon X, e non parliamo nemmeno del lato comedy!

Avevano detto che questa testata avrebbe spinto il "rating" della testata, ma pffff  e lo sapevo eh...
Non è nemmeno sotto l'etichetta "MAX" della Marvel, quindi che cazz vuoi che sia?
Non è gore/splatter/dark/gritty niente di niente, chi vogliono fregare?
La musica potrebbe cambiare, ok, ma ne dubito.
