Artistically, this book really is at its best when Ethan Van Sciver is the primary artist. The Lanterns never look better, and it is appropriate to have the best Green Lantern artist back for the new golden age. However, it feels like Robert Venditti is eager to tear down the Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps alliance that he worked so hard to establish. It still feels a little too soon to be heading in the opposite direction, especially since the pairing of Guy Gardner and Arkillo has such a ready made bond for an intergalactic buddy comedy. Their action sequence is the standout part of the issue, and very satisfying. Venditti also ups the tension between Kyle Rayner and Soranik Natu before dropping a bombshell revelation on John Stewart. It's an intriguing setup, even if I don't necessarily like the creative direction that the book appears to be moving in. -Blair

If the Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps alliance wasn't broken before, it certainly seems to be on its way out now. Robert Venditti appears to have set up a major turning point for the next issue, which would be fine if two key players didn't act so wildly out of character. It's one thing for a murderer to act so rashly, but Soranik too? Even accounting for her anger, that turn doesn't feel like it was earned or justified. On the art front, Ethan Van Sciver has a surprisingly subdued issue. There are occasional moments that Van Sciver depicted to full effect, including the murder of a Sinestro Corps member and Soranik's confrontation with Kyle Rayner. However, Van Sciver's pages don't seem to hit his incredibly high standards. Perhaps we've been spoiled by Van Sciver's consistent quality, so that even the slightest drop is noticeable. This isn't a bad issue by any stretch of the imagination, but it is relatively disappointing. -Blair

Bellissimo numero, ovviamente in questo tipo di storia i pg, per forza di cose, "devono" essere scritti out-of-character.
Quindi sì, ci sono forzature, ma almeno non è banale, non quanto Civil War II per dire...
Soranik è cambiata moltissimo, però considerando quello che è successo....ci sta.
Personalmente io avrei speso altro tempo su questa cosa, perchè è successo tutto troppo rapidamente.
Praticamente ora è una villain, uno dei tanti twistoni di questo numero.
Ritiro tutto quello che ho detto su Stewart, è il numero uno! Quel back up plan spaccava di brutto, ora le Lanterne Gialle hanno una
