Wonder Woman (USA) di G. Rucka, J. Robinson, G. Willow Wilson

Though we're only five issues in, Greg Rucka's run on Wonder Woman has already redeemed the character after the terrible post-Brian Azzarello days of The New 52. There's a lot going on here with "The Lies," and that's just one of the two great stories Rucka is telling. Beyond Steve Trevor, Cadulo, and the demon-Swamp-Thing-looking Urzkartaga, perhaps the most interesting aspect of this story is the new relationship between Diana and Cheetah. The former bitter enemies seem to be on the same page, with Cheetah cast in a very sympathetic light. Liam Sharp is totally on point here, perfectly capturing Cheetah's inner turmoil, along with the aforementioned Urzkartaga who will clearly be quite the foe for Wonder Woman should Cadulo have his way. But the good news for Diana is that once she's done with him, there's a whole other conspiracy lying in wait for her. - Joe

Niente, ogni numero è la stessa storia: Adoro il modo in cui Rucka sta scrivendo WW, adoro le matite di Scott (Pure Sharp mi piace molto!)
Tra l'altro in questo numero Diana mi ha fatto una gran tenerezza e almeno per ora...o forse solo con Rucka, il pg conserva tanta...innocenza

Tra l'altro e anche bellissimo vedere come presente e passato siano collegati in tante piccole cose (la foto ) ,e se quella di Azzarello era una ottima WW alternativa questa  appare  a tutti gli effetti  come la "vera" WW e lo dico da neofita totale del personaggio

#6: oh, finalmente!

Anche qui, ero pronto a tagliare, ma finalmente le cose si fanno interessanti. Dopo dei numeri in cui è accaduto esattamento ciò che mi aspettavo, finalmente qualcosa di diverso.

Si continua ancora per un po'.

Lettering is something that doesn't get talked about often enough in comic reviews (mine being no exception), but this story arc serves as a perfect example of how crucial good lettering can be to a story. This issue hinges heavily on the language barrier between Diana and the world of men. Jodi Wynne uses varied fonts and word balloon borders to convey that barrier. She even creates a sort of hybrid balloon format to represent when characters start to successfully pierce through that barrier and communicate with Diana. It's all very subtly but cleverly handled. Meanwhile, Nicola Scott's gorgeous art and Romulo Fajardo's warm colors channel an incredible amount of emotion. Together, they highlight both the joy and fear Diana experiences as she ventures into the outside world for the first time and struggles to comprehend it. And not to be outdone, Greg Rucka's refined prose expertly portrays the clash between Amazonian and American cultures. It's intriguing to see more links develop between this flashback storyline and the present-day conflict in "The Lies." -Jesse
