Un numero non male, ma ho preferito i primi a questo (su tutti il 6). Jock sempre una garanzia, ma Snyder poteva dare qualcosa di più secondo me. Finalmente finisce la storia con Duke che a quanto pare continuerà in Dark Days

All-Star Batman #9 (Published by DC Comics; Review by Robert Reed; 'Rama Rating: 10 out of 10):

The "Ends of the Earth" arc comes to a close with the fantastic All-Star Batman #9. Writer Scott Snyder is reunited with "Black Mirror" collaborator Jock and expert colorist Lee Loughridge. The story that has been building finally comes to a close as Batman faces the man pulling the strings: Ra's Al Ghul. The artwork throughout the issue is simply sublime, as Jock expertly shows off the hand-to-hand combat between Bruce and Ra's. The final issue is not without its twists as well, and Snyder still finds a way to inject some humor from Alfred. The issue's backup story, "The Cursed Wheel," also comes to a conclusion, adding a wicked twist to Duke's development. The haunting artwork by Francesco Francavilla doesn't hurt either. It will be interesting to see how Snyder intends to utilize the reveal here in future issues and just what it all means for Batman's newest partner.

It's easy to get the impression that Scott Snyder just loves adding layers to Alfred and his backstory. There's really no other reason for Alfred to be joining Batman in the field as he does in this issue. Snyder is also walking a fine line between cool and cheesy with Batman's very public appearance. But it's fun, and there is some nice misdirection late in the story. This is Alfred's tale, and it really does offer more of his thoughts than we usually get. It may be Alfred's story, but it's Rafael Albuquerque who dominates the issue. His artwork in the opening chapter is exciting and well-drawn. However, the backup story that Albuquerque co-wrote with Rafael Scavone steals the issue by putting Batman about as deep undercover as he's ever gone. Sebastian Fiumara's art in that story is even better than Albuquerque's pages. After only six pages, this backup creative team has made a strong argument that they deserve a Bat-book of their own. And that's the story that has me looking forward to the next issue. -Blair

Ultimamente ho troppo da fare e quando ho tempo libero sono stanco e non ho molta voglia di imbarcarmi in letture Inglesi
Ad ogni modo, il numero non mi è dispiaciuto per niente, compreso la back up.
Sicuramente l'ho trovato molto più interessante rispetto rispetto ai numeri precedenti, spero si continui almeno cosi.
