Every so often, DC Comics puts out a title that I feel I have to keep harping on, just to let everyone know that this is the real deal - this is a comic book you should not only be paying attention to, but that you should be emulating. And in the hands of Tom Taylor, Batman/Superman is that book - instead of trying to reinvent (or reboot) the wheel or to goose sales with crazy high-concepts, epic guest stars or A-list names attached, this book rests on characterization only. And let me tell you, I wish more books had the courage to do the same. Taylor's take on Superman being a lighter, more optimistic foil to the eternally moody and paranoid Batman is a wonderful dynamic - I love bits like Clark shaming Bruce after he learns Batman has been studying Green Lantern's technology, or Batman unflinchingly getting the first strike on a longtime DC baddie who is way out of his league. Robson Rocha and Julio Ferriera, also not huge names on their own, also do some beautiful work here - the art reminds me a bit of a cross between Ivan Reis and Ethan Van Sciver, with the occasionally musculature of an artist like Phil Jiminez. Kudos to this creative team for such solid work, as well as the editors who entrusted them to do it. Note to DC: We need more books like this.

NONONONONONONONO fancuore Rebirth, questo evento NON deve stravolgere le storylines di Taylor perchè sono BELLISSIME!
Pak ha fatto un buon lavoro, specialmente l'arc pre-truth, ma Taylor è tutta un'altra cosa! Roba di qualità come la testata pre-reboot Superman/Batman con Loeb, qualcosa che sto riririleggendo in preparazione per BvS!
Bats e Supes come piacciono a me, perchè non basta scrivere bene solo uno dei due, e usare ogni numero per mostrare le loro differenze e similitudini dopo un po' comincia anche a stufare e che cazz
Vediamo Lobo (yet again!) e questo nuovo Kryptoniano che..bho forse non è nemmeno un kryptoniano, di sicuro è immune alla K!
Bats è nei guai, ma non come Supes, chissà cosa vogliono dall'azzurrone e....chi è il villain???

Non ho parole per descrivere il mio compiacimento nei confronti di Taylor è il suo writing, specialmente quando scrive i big two!
Non che dovesse provare qualcosa eh! Aveva già dimostrato la sua bravura in Injustice, nonostante fosse un elseworld, una storia in cui abbiamo un evil Superman, moooolto in là rispetto a quello che si vede persino in TDKR, ha dimostrato di saper gestire tutto!

DAXAMITE! Di fatto era un terzo "Kryptoniano" ma è anche qualcosa di più! Ecco perchè era invunerabile alla K!
Probabilmente è entrato in contatto con il piombo e infatti sta morendo e quel finale...BELLISSIMO con Superman E Batman che aiutano questo estraneo, e gli stanno vicino nei suoi ultimi attimi!

Si conclude questa piccolissima gestione, un vero peccato, Taylor ha molto da dare in una manciata di numeri mi ha mostrato tutte quelle cose che amavo della vecchia testata di Superman/Batman, ha pure sganciato un "Jeph Loeb" Bravo!
Vediamo cosa farà Tomasi col suo Super League!

Too rarely has this series focused on the basics and emphasized the Batman/Superman dynamic over plot. This short arc has been a welcome change of pace in that regard. Tom Taylor ends his brief run on a high note as Batman and Superman contend with Lobo and his giant benefactor, as well as a sun-crazed alien who may or may not be Kryptonian. Taylor seems to relish the opportunity to write Batman and Superman as friends rather than bitter enemies for a change, and their odd friendship is very charming to read. The ending, if hardly as earth-shattering as the solicitation made it out to be, is very heartfelt and emotionally affecting. Robson Rocha's dynamic art style rounds out the issue. Rocha is given the chance to render plenty of intergalactic spectacle, but it's more the subtle moments of emotion and character interaction where his work stands out the most. -Jesse

Tom Taylor and Robson Rocha end their all-too-brief tenure on Batman/Superman, and it ends not with a punch, but with something altogether more compassionate. Too often, superhero comic books fall into the trap of mindless action, but there's nothing mindless about Taylor's script - Batman and Superman play off each other marvelously, with Batman always punching above his weight class as he hijacks Lobo's spaceship and hacks into Hal Jordan's Green Lantern ring, or Superman making friends in the unlikeliest of places. Rocha's work reminds me a lot of Ethan Van Sciver's, with inker Jay Leisten giving a lot of gnarly detail to Batman while keeping Superman clean and streamlined. Lots of fun twists, great character moments, and a super-poignant ending make me wish this creative team could have stuck around for a long, long time.

Mamma mia che numerone!!!
Grief e Sadness, Tomasi gioca molto su questi aspetti e diamine se è bravo! Non dico che è il migliore, ma sicuramente uno dei migliori, già Taylor aveva mostrato qualcosa del genere nel numero precedente con poche pg!
Clark rivela a Bruce che ha

Vediamo tutta la rabbia/disperazione di Bruce in un piccolissimo gesto, e quando Alfred (Tomasi non si scorda mai di lui!) ringrazia Supes per....TUTTO! bhe io..
Taylor e Tomasi scrivono più o meno lo stesso Superman, mentre il loro Batman è abbastanza differente, l'ho trovato molto...interessante!
