It's great to see Tom Taylor finally get a crack at the regular versions of Batman and Superman after all his wonderful work on alternate universe versions of those characters in Injustice and Earth 2. Taylor doesn't take any real chances at his first swing on the characters, but in doing so he still manages to tell a solid and engaging team-up tale. His set up, a dead giant alien on the surface of the moon (very evocative of The Watcher in Marvel's Original Sin), is a simple but effective way to bring out the strengths of both characters. Robson Rocha's art is similarly straightforward, but that simplicity on the art side leaves something to be desired. Through and through this is about what you would expect from a book called Batman/Superman - no more, no less. –Levi

Che bello....ti adoro Taylor!
Non c'era niente da provare, ma lo ha fatto, Taylor sa scrivere Supes e non solo! Sa scrivere Supes E Bats!
Sembrerà n'azzata, ma solitamente i writers tendono a svaccare di brutto il pg di Supes quando si trova vicino al pippistrellone!
Invece tutto perfetto, Supes fa fuori Clayface, non riesce di "No" ad Alfred, si affida a Bats per i lavori di DC mentre usa i suoi poteri ed è molto umile!
La trama? Bellissima, ha messo le basi per una storia molto interessante, chi sarà questo killer? Questo Kryptoniano?

With Batman/Superman #29, Tom Taylor definitively proves himself capable of being on DC's biggest stage. Taylor had tackled DC's duo before, but generally in Elseworlds stories. Here he writes the regular universe versions of the pair in brilliant ways - the voices for each are spot on, the plot is worthy of both heroes and their respective strengths, and the mystery flies by with plenty of action and twists. Many DC books are currently in a holding pattern of fill-ins before Rebirth does whatever Rebirth is going to do. If this is Taylor's audition for Rebirth, he has passed with flying colors and deserves to be on some of the company's biggest books. –Levi
