Gilbert Hernandez and Darwyn Cooke brought their various plot threads and relationship dramas to such satisfying climaxes with last issue, that this final issue can't help but feel a little slight in comparison. The quirky, fascinating characters were what made the world of The Twilight Children so hypnotically interesting, but most of these characters are brushed off to the side for the finale's climactic event. There's still plenty to like here - Hernandez's captivating, sparse use of dialogue or captions, Cooke's immaculate panel-to-panel sequential storytelling, Dave Stewart's bright and confident color choices - but the finale just doesn't manage to captivate in quite the same way as the previous three issues. –Levi

Sono molto curioso di leggere twilight children, l'ho ordinato e mi aspetto un bel fumetto. Di sheriff of babylon ne parlano tutti bene, ho letto il primo numero ma non mi piacciono molto le storie di guerra. Dovrebbero anche averlo allungato. Unfollow invece mi sta piacendo molto!

Tom King and Mitch Gerads are in perfect sync on The Sheriff of Babylon. Their united approach to slowly building to the action in this issue is visual storytelling excellence, their mutual payoff to that build is explosive. BANG. What King and Gerads are able to achieve in terms of nuanced, subtle characterization is riveting. Scenes that would feel like they're going on too long in other books are absolutely riveting in this series because of the level of implication King places on every word and Gerad's places on every facial tick. These creators have brought together an engaging mystery and surrounded it with complex characters and an even more complex world. –Levi

This new series continues to move at a methodical pace. The basic premise of the book was only truly established in issue #3, and even now Unfollow doesn't immediately degenerate into a violent bloodbath as 140 lucky winners battle for their share of a billion dollar fortune. Rob Williams is taking a more personal, character-focused approach to the series, and it's paying off nicely. This issue offers more insight into the main cast. Eccentric Japanese novelist/performance artist Akira is the book's most compelling figure, but each of these characters stand out in their own way. It helps that Mike Dowling gives each character such a distinctive appearance and personality. This issue finds an extra appeal in exploring the notion of whether this conflict is predetermined or whether the inevitable dark outcome can be prevented. What could have easily been a simple, straightforward riff on Battle Royale is developing into something much more. -Jesse
