Scott Snyder On the Possibility of a Stand-Alone Joker Original Graphic Novel

Had an idea for another Joker story recently - something really dark though, for out of continuity, like a gn. Hopeful. We'll see!

I always think I'm done with Joker, but he still scares me, and I get ideas. This'd be a different take though, something simple.


How close is such a project to reality, though?

"No, I'm definitely trying to develop it," Snyder said. "I always think of it with [an artist] in mind, so I already have somebody in time for it. For me, it's just about making it happen. It's going to be a lot of fun."

Lui contrariamente a molti writers *cough* tipo Morrison *cough* non pianifica per bene la sua gestione, o almeno va di arco in arco e questa cosa l'ha ripetuta in molte interviste.
Sto fatto di non usare più Joker dopo Endgame mi puzzava molto, eee bhe prepariamoci per una GN!
Forse non ci sarà Capullo (direi che è quasi sicuro)

Ora ha delle nuove idee
E questa volta è una cosa semplice, quindi spera in un GN tipo The Killing Joke, quindi non lo vedremo nella testata di "Batman"

Ma a differenza di Bats è molto più difficile da scrivere!

Lui contrariamente a molti writers *cough* tipo Morrison *cough* non pianifica per bene la sua gestione, o almeno va di arco in arco e questa cosa l'ha ripetuta in molte interviste.

Cosa che reputo positiva all'inizio della gestione per vedere se piacciono le idee che hai, ma pessima nel lungo raggio. Anche se credo che un minimo di visione ce l'abbia sull'arco narrativo presente e quello futuro.

Per il resto il fatto che stia pensando ad una Graphic Novel su Joker non implica che sia ambientata in continuity o che sia fondamentale per la sua gestione sicché come "critica" mi pare un po' futile.

Esatto, infatti ha detto che sarà molto dark e forse pure fuori continuity!
Secondo me, non sa come "riportare" in scena il clown, le idee non gli mancano, però tende sempre a fare le cose in grande scala e si deve pure occupare delle ripercussioni, e questo non è il massimo per lui!

Sti numeri dopo end game (saga per me spettacolare) sono mosci e fatti per spillare soldi e prendere tempo. Peccato.
Contento invece per la GN sul Joker scritta da Snyder che sulla figura del clown non mi ha mai deluso.

Spero davvero basta joker sulla serie per un pò , lo adoro eh, ma mi piacerebbe che si esaltassero altri cattivi, con enigmista almeno per il personaggio ha fatto un ottimo lavoro
