Un capitolo diverso rispetto al solito, perché contiene poche riflessioni, pochi pensieri, ma tanta adrenalina. Le pagine si leggono veramente tutte d'un fiato, mantenendo alta la tensione, soprattutto grazie all'entrata in scena di Slade. È lui il vero mattatore dell'albo, da quando spara colpendo la bottiglia fino all'ultima pagina. Ovviamente è intuibile la soluzione della faccenda, ma devo ammettere che non mi aspettavo la piega che ha preso la trama in questo numero. Bravissimo Percy!

Green Arrow: Rebirth non mi ha convinto. La storia non mi ha preso granché, insomma, mi sarebbe piaciuto che l'autore si fosse sbizzarrito con un bel cast di personaggi e trame, invece il tutto scorre in modo un po' anonimo. Vorrei di meglio dalla serie, ma poiché l'autore sarà lo stesso ci spero poco.

Green Arrow Rebirth #1, nulla da dire se non,grazie Percy. Dopo un inizio virato sull'horror e sul rimettere Oliver in prospettiva Percy ci porta a considerare Freccia Verde come l'eroe dei meno abbienti(come era un tempo), un eroe che seppur combatte anche a livelli alti ,sa dove la città ha bisogno e stavolta non è più solo,c'è Black Canary con lui.
Otto Schimdt mi è piaciuto molto.

A mio parere la partenza migliore del rebirth insieme a Batman.

Ciiiii siaaaamo!
Bel numero, con Rebirth e questo numero ho già capito che avremo il vecchio Oliver, o almeno la sua love story con Dinah!
Personalmente mi trovo molto bene con Percy, dispiace perdere Patrick Zircher che è andato su AC (e qua son felice! ) ma anche Schmidt ha fatto un buon lavoro, anche se ha messo 2 o 3 pose...strane...
Dinah è stata "Batgirlizzata" e anche qua continua ad avere quel fashion che non si sposa bene col resto del mondo di GA, stessa cosa per Batgirl, ma vabbe...
Green Arrow sta facendo parlare, più di un Flash/Green Lantern/Aquaman ed è strano...succederà qualcosa di interessante a quanto pare

"Liberal," "Sanctimonious," "Social Justice Warrior" - Green Arrow: Rebirth #1 can, like Ollie's reputation, feel a tad exhausting with all these buzzwords being slung around. However, it feels like Benjamin Percy is just trying to get the heavy-lifting out of the way in the first issue by reestablishing the titular character. Beyond this, Percy has done an excellent job of bringing Green Arrow back to basics and, using Geoff Johns' DC Universe: Rebirth and a budding romance with Black Canary as a compass towards hope, let's this title feel like there really is going to be an adventurous tomorrow. Otto Schmidt is a perfect fit for this title and balances the grittiness that audiences have come to expect with the new mandate of making these characters' super once again. It's back to basics for Green Arrow: Rebirth #1, and it feels so right.

In a lot of ways, this comic is the first true test of DC Rebirth. Can a series truly feel new and different when it retains the same writer from the previous volume? In this case, the answer is a resounding yes. Ben Percy's earlier Green Arrow run was by no means bad, but this issue immediately reaches a new level of quality. Percy is able to reinvigorate Oliver Queen by bringing him back to his roots as a cranky, socialist hero. This issue tackles the hypocrisy of a rich playboy trying to fight for the common man and makes it clear that Ollie will have to make some fundamental changes to his life. This issue also benefits greatly from the addition of Black Canary to the mix. Why the series wasn't titled "Green Arrow & Black Canary" is a mystery, as their dynamic is easily the highlight of the new direction. The final page is as smile-inducing as anything from DC Universe Rebirth from last week. Couple all of this with Otto Schmidt's stylish art (which heavily evokes Sean Gordon Murphy's style), and it looks as though Green Arrow could quickly become one of DC's best ongoing titles. -Jesse
