Nhaa niente di così emozionante, là Tomasi aveva dato il meglio di sè!
Gleason alla fine è più un artist, anche se sta facendo un lavoro discreto eh!

Robin: Son of Batman #8 is a fill-in issue through and through. You have to admire DC's attempts to ship their books on a monthly schedule, but when breaks like this are what's required to ensure that schedule, you begin to question how necessary a regularly shipping issue is. There's nothing even that bad about this issue, it just feels completely unnecessary. A bored Damian tells Alfred about his attempt to a return a stolen sword, as a way to pass time while he's getting a haircut. Even the characters in this book don't really care about the story one way or another. There's no danger, no charm, no growth of character, and nothing particularly interesting about the art to make you care about this comic in any way.–Levi

Robin: Son of Batman #8 (Published by DC Comics; Review by Pierce Lydon; 'Rama Rating: 6 out of 10):

Patrick Gleason is one of the best artists working at DC today so anytime you have a fill-in artist, there's going to be some drop off. Ramon Bachs definitely has a different style than Gleason, opting to go a little bit more cartoony with his action sequences and character renderings. It still works for the book considering that Ray Fawkes's script isn't too overly dramatic. This issue is a quick story that doubles down on what the concept of the book has been since the beginning: Damian doesn't want to become the man his mother wanted him to be. So Fawkes and Bachs don't really reinvent the wheel here but for new readers that are wondering what this whole "Son of Batman" thing is all about this a good primer. It's a mix of action and humor that has real implications for Damian as he continues to evolve in the DCU
