Animated BATMAN VS. ROBIN Movie Voice Cast Announced



Batman is about to undergo a "convergence" in comics this summer, and it looks like different eras of Batman's voice cast are convergencing on his next animated film. The Hollywood Reporter has the official list of voice actors working on the upcoming Batman Vs. Robin animated movie coming from Warner Bros. Animation, and it features some classic "Timm"-verse names as well as some more recent and even new ones.

Returning from the recent Son of Batman animated movie is: Jason O'Mara (Terra Nova, Sons of Liberty) as Batman; Stuart Allen (Bad Teacher) as Robin/Damian; Arrow's Shrapnel, Sean Maher, playing Nightwing; and David McCallum (NCIS, Man From U.N.C.L.E.) as Alfred.

Joining this ensemble crew is Jeremy Sisto (Suburgatory, Law & Order) as Talon, Grey Griffin as Samantha, and parody musician Al Yankovic as the Dollmaker.

And perhaps most surprising (pleasantly, of course), is the iconic titular voice of Batman: The Animated Series, Kevin Conroy, is returning to voice Thomas Wayne, father to Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Batman vs. Robin is a sequel to the aforementioned Son of Batman, and is based in part on Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's "Court of Owls" arc on the Batman comic series. The movie will premiere at WonderCon in April, with a home video release scheduled for later this year.

Le basi per un bel film ci sono, visto che il film in parte è basato sulla run dei Gufi di Snyder & Capullo.

Kevin! Super-mega-iper-graditissimo ritorno, peccato solo che non presti la sua fantastica voce al Crociato Incappucciato. O'Mara non mi piace e non potrà mai reggere il paragone con quello che è Il Cavaliere Oscuro in persona (ma ammettiamolo, chi lo regge?).

ecco perchè da un war in poi mi hanno deluso un pochino i film animati dc, la qualità di under the red hood, all star superman, the dark knight returns parte 1 e 2, justice league crisis on two earths è oramai ineguagliabile.

Il film uscirà il 14 aprile 2015.
