Ho perennemente avuto la sensazione che in ogni parte narrata sarebbe successo qualcosa di imprevedibile e clamoroso, ma alla fine s'è rivelata solo una sensazione. Potrebbe essere considerato una sorta di preparazione a ciò che potrebbe accadere/accadrà nel prossimo numero, e tutto sommato mi sta bene. Dunque, se dovessi vederlo da questa angolazione è stato un buon numero.

Indubbiamente, per me la parte migliore è quella finale con protagonisti Thomas e Huntress, anche se non è successo nulla. Però mi basta solo vederli e sono felice così.

Vuoi rendere il numero più appetibile? E' semplice: inserisci più pagine con Helena e Thomas e mi rendi felice. Sarò ripetitivo, ma non smetterò mai di dire quanto siano forti questi due pg insieme. Si completano a vicenda. Thomas diventa anche più umano in presenza di Helena.

La parte con gli avatars, questa volta, è stata più interessante. Finalmente però

Earth 2: World's End #20 (Published by DC Comics; Review by Michael Moccio; 'Rama Rating: 6 out of 10):

As the battle for Earth 2 is coming to a close, it's hard to feel anything other than anxiety for it to finish. With the end in sight, it's definitely cool to see how far the Parliament can be pushed, what the World Army is going to do about all these refugees, and how Huntress and Batman are going to get what they need. Earth 2: World's End is at the point where it feels like the end of a long marathon and you just want to get through with it to move on to your next 26.2-mile run. That's not to say that this is a bad issue, as each individual story thread continues to have its own merits. By far, even though Dick Grayson has a minimal role in Earth 2, he and Ted Grant's story is by far the most interesting because of how well the writers are able to hone in on smaller problems during the end of the world. Hopefully the writing team can take that essence, where we still remember to care about these characters as people and not just pieces in this grand cosmic war, and finish strong.

Niente da fare, dopo un inizio con il botto anche questa serie ha perso il suo fascino, infatti da un bel po' di numeri la trovo molto noiosa. Ha di conseguenza raggiunto un livello qualitativo pari alle altre due serie settimanali, almeno secondo il mio punto di vista. Nonostante ciò, la parte con Helena e Thomas rimane sempre la mia preferita.

If there's one character you can always rely on to make the story interesting, it would be Batman, even if he's dead. The writers for Earth 2: World's End #21 revitalize our investment in the story as they show us how Bruce prepared for the complete end of the world and what it means for the issues to come. Suddenly, a new and unexpected facet of the story is revealed and now we want to know what happens next. This issue definitely picked up momentum from the last one, proving that it still has life. The art team is really the hero of the issue, rendering images packed with so many different elements that still feel like they have breathing room - when you're drawing packed refuge areas and armies coming at you, that's a feat worth recognizing. If nothing else, we can still look fondly on Earth 2: World's End for eliminating Power Girl's infamous boob window in an incredibly meaningful way.
