Action Comics (USA) di Greg Pak

Action Comics #38 (Published by DC Comics; Review by David Pepose; 'Rama Rating: 6 out of 10):

While the sci-fi/horror fusion high concept of Action Comics may clash wildly with the usual aesthetics of Superman, at the end of the day, Greg Pak, Aaron Kuder and Jae Lee battle valiantly to sell it. The result is a strange mixed bag - on the one hand, having interdimensional telepathic fear parasites invading Smallville with corpses is certainly a change of pace for the Man of Steel, but given how Superman has been struggling for a consistent direction since the relaunch, this feels too soon for this kind of tangent. Still, Pak nails the characterization, particularly a blood-curdling loss of control on Clark's part, and Kuder and Lee both produce some expressive, well-crafted art. (I almost wish Lee's creepier style had been used in the entire arc.) A mixed bag, to be sure, but the execution does trump the off-putting high concept.

Action Comics #39 (Published by DC Comics; Review by Pierce Lydon; 'Rama Rating: 7 out of 10):

Greg Pak's Action Comics has been an interesting corner of the Superman universe. While his stories are generally more insulated from the larger DC Universe, they are steeped in Superman's own personal continuity. This issue is no different, forcing Clark to take inventory of his fears, his past failures and his closest relationships. The result is something heartwarming and hopeful that works well without getting too saccharine. Scott Kolins and Aaron Kuder team up on the artwork. Kolins produces the issue's more traditional comic book work, but it's Kuder's moody, wistful flashback/nightmare sequences that steal the show. Superman fans yearning for some old-school Kryptonian action will want to check this one out.

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII MAdooooooo FANTASTICO questo numero!
Mi sembrava di esser tornato al pre-reboot con queste storie, GRAZIE Pak!
Dopo aver letto Forever Evil ho detto "Bon, possiamo dire addio al Bizarro Wolrd, dato che in questa continuity Bizarro è un clone e non una creatura proveniente da quel mondo o mxyptlssd ecc" MAI stato così felice di aver torto azz!
Quando si usa Bizarro...insomma ci sono molti modi per fargli dire le cose al "contrario", Pak ha scelto la via più semplice e ha messo il piede sull'accelleratore e...ha pure fatto una piccola parodia di Doomed!
Cioè basta prendere la pg iniziale, non mi devi nemmeno spiegare il resto con Convergence alle porte e Doomed alle spalle
Che bello , che bello, che bello ne voglio ancooooora! mi sa proprio che leggero la mini su Bizarro...sperando che sia questo qui e non quello di Lex e che...sia scritto da PAK!

Tutte le cover riguardanti la storyline Truth (che sembra essere un crossover che coinvolge almeno Action Comics, Superman, Batman/Superman e Superman/Wonder Woman) a Giugno hanno lo sfondo monocolore.
Quindi forse è solo una scelta stilistica.

tanto vale gli lasciavano l'armatura almeno quello un po superman lo era... comunque spero sia solo temporaneo e  presto si corra ai ripari
