Sarà mio a brevissimo. Lemire è attualmente quello che mi stimola di più sui lavori indipendenti.

Best seller negli USA...ottime recensioni. Disegni fantastici e trama che sembra molto interessante.

Qualcuno lo ha letto? Possibile che nessun editore italiano ha pensato di portarlo da noi?

Io ce l'ho in coda di lettura, assieme a Lost Dogs, appena lo finisco posto le mie impressioni

Lost Dogs è molto bello. Breve, ma intensissimo.

Sulla pagina della Bao avevo chiesto se le opere di Lemire (Lost Dogs, Essex County e, quando sarà il momento dato che è appena uscito, The Underwater Welder potessero rientrare nei loro interessi ma mi hanno risposto in maniera velata che: "almeno una delle opere citate è da tempo in mano ad un altro edtore italiano.

Al che ho ringraziato lo stesso dicendo che scommettevo su Essex County.

A questo punto la domanda sorge: Chi è che spende dei soldi per dei diritti che poi non fa fruttare stampando il volume? Quali possono essere le motivazioni?

Staremo a vedere. A me lo stile di Lemire fa pensare subito a volumi Coconino.

Magari è in lavorazione da un bel po' di tempo. E se è Essex County è comprensibile.
In ogni caso Lemire in inglese si legge comodamente.
