Fantastic Four (USA) di James Robinson

It's funny that this closing arc of James Robinson's FF run involves Marvel's heroes fighting against a massive, citywide invasion of monsters from the dream realm, and yet the stakes feel lower than they once were. That's a consequence of kicking off this series by breaking the FF apart. Now that our heroes are reunited, there's a sense that the worst is behind them. And none of this is a bad thing. Rather, it feels like well-deserved payoff for a year of hardships and trials. This issue doesn't lack for excitement or spectacle. Leonard Kirk has somehow achieved a new level of visual flair with his refined, larger-than-life pencils. He's definitely helping the series go out with a bang. And even if this issue sometimes suffers from clunky dialogue (mainly involving the bizarrely casual Namor and the uncharacteristically immature Valeria), it sets the stage for a promising finale issue. -Jesse
