Crewed by teenage geniuses frozen in cryosleep, the JEMISON is on a mission to terraform other worlds and provide hope for the human race. But when the ship is mysteriously stopped over a planet that isn't on any of their maps, the crew finds themselves suddenly awoken ten years early. One half remains behind to try and assess the damage and the other is dispatched to the planet below to figure out the answer to a perilous question: What stopped the ship, and is it friend or foe?


Diciamo che oltre al risveglio fuori programma, su un pianeta fuori mappa, si è visto poco a parte il delinearsi caratteriale dei personaggi ed alcune gerarchie... Però, quel poco che si è visto è bastato per innescare la curiosità. Che è successo? E cosa c'è su questo misterioso pianeta?

I disegni, che sono poi il motivo che mi ha spinto a provare la serie, stanno rispettando le aspettative, coadiuvati da un'ambientazione fantascientifica particolarmente indicata.

Questo non è il n° 1, o almeno non credo, è l'albo omaggio del Free Comic Book Day, quindi sarebbe una sorta di n° 0. Tuttavia le 24 pagine di pura storia mi lasciano il dubbio che potrebbe corrispondere pari pari allo spillato in arrivo

In the year 2200, a team of teenage scientists are sent on a terraforming mission to a distant planet. Selected as the best and brightest of their generation, architect Jonas, botanist Marnie, biologist Jane, engineers Anya and Kamari, and security detail Kurt are all put into cryostasis expected to wake up when it is time to prepare to land on their assigned planet. When they are awakened abruptly, ten years early, halted above a strange planet, the teens are tasked with trying to figure out why they're stalled – or what stalled them.
