DC's recent #50 issues have been a little strange in their execution, as most have either tried to do too much or too little with their extended page count. Green Arrow #50 is a case of the latter. The script slowly builds towards the next big showdown between Ollie and his Warg enemies, but even after 40 pages offers little in the way of payoff. Even the much-hyped presence of Deathstroke in this issue is little more than a tease for future installments. Ben Percy does include some solid character work in these pages (mainly focused on Ollie dealing with his current condition and bantering with his allies), but it's just not enough to salvage what reads like a very transitional chapter. Szymon Kudranksi's art is appropriately moody for a story revolving around werewolves and bloodsuckers, and Kudranksi wisely avoids the more stylized, abstract approach usually seen in his work. But his stiff figure work is too often a drag during the more action-oriented sequences -Jesse

Un altro fantastico numero! Ma...possibile che questo sia il primissimo face-off tra Ollie e Slade? Forse mi stavo confondendo con Futures End che ovviamente non va contato...
Comunque Percy mi paice molto su GA e anche le matite sono di mio gusto, in pochi numeri abbiamo già visto diverse tipologie di storie, è molto versatile anzi rende Oliver molto versatile!
Spero che leggerlo anche nel post-Rebirth, sempre su GA se possibile!
