Ciao ragazzi, vorrei iniziare questa serie in inglese dato che dell'edizione italiana non c'è traccia. Me la consigliate? La serie ha una continuity stringente oppure è organizzata ad archi narrativi a sé stanti?

Mah, io ho letto qualcosina, penso i primi 5 numeri della prima serie, onestamente non l'ho trovata proprio nulla di chè. Ha un buon comparto grafico, ma la storia mi è sembra piuttosto moscia. Non mi sentirei di consigliarla a meno chè tu non sia fan del periodo storico e di quei personaggi.

Bombshells is ended, officially. But don't worry - Bombshells United is just over the horizon. This last issue (of the print run; the digital first version ended a bit ago) is a big, fun climax that doesn't quite feel like an ending but could serve as one if needed. The majority of the plots wrap up in this huge battle, the Siege of Leningrad. In these tough times, it's always awesome to see a fistful of superheroines kicking Nazis butt. The comic remains as delightful as ever, breaking the fourth wall, and breaking all the rules surrounding what the characters can and can't be like. Sometimes it feels like someone gave a kid these characters (with these World War II designs) and that (brilliant, funny, queer, inventive) kid is just playing with them in her backyard, making them kiss or sing, or do whatever delights her. And honestly? That's why it's one of the best DC books around. This war is ended, but another fight is right around the corner -- this one set in the good ole US of A. Good timing, too. We need the Bombshells here more than ever. You want a fun, happy time reading about awesome super powered women fighting fascists? Get your hands on Bombshells. -Tara
