Inhumans: Once and Future Kings (USA) Priest & Noto

I almost feel bad for the creative team who mangled the Inhumans live-action TV series, because they may have poisoned that brand going forward. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to clean up that mess. But whenever someone else decides to reboot the Inhumans for the MCU, then they should probably look at the great work that Christopher Priest and Phil Noto are doing in Once and Future Kings. Priest has given the younger Black Bolt, Maximus and Medusa compelling personalities. Even Karnak, Gorgon and Triton are interesting in this tale of princes on the run and palace intrigue. It seems to play a little fast and loose with Marvel continuity by showing the Fantastic Four and even Spider-Man as older characters than the Inhuman Royal Family. But it's very clear that this is the approach that the TV show should have taken. Priest has found a way to make the royals resonate as characters, and Noto's lush artwork has given the story a very timeless quality. This isn't just a great Inhumans comic, it's simply a great comic. -Blair
