Tutto il mondo e le loro madri stavano già ossannando questo numero/run di King, probabilmente in molti prima ancora di leggerlo ma chissene.

Ho deciso di ripartire da 0 con King, almeno su questa testata per me è un fresh new start, sarà dura forse, ma non per questo numero, perchè era davvero scritto E disegnato bene...anzi, alla grande, veramente una grandissima partenza, non voglio gufare, ma spero davvero di avere la versione migliore (o almeno che piace a me) di King, quello dalle parti di...beh, praticamente Mister Miracle.

Mi è piaciuto moltissimo come ha strutturato questo numero, tanto deriva anche dal milestone issue, ma anche già solo il build-up verso Diana/Wonder Woman e cosa rappresenta era fantastico.

I temi che ha trattato in questo numero sono molto...damn, lasciamo stare gli States, pure per noi si parla proprio di attualità!
Vediamo quanto intende essere politico, non è che non gli mancano le palle, piuttosto è l'esecuzione che lo frega.

Anyway, si può sempre cambiare e migliorare, devo crederci.

P.S. Pensiero non del tutto random, ma questo numero che droppa proprio oggi durante il Ganesh Chaturthi (nascita di Ganesh) che venne creato dalla madre senza l'aiuto del padre proprio come Diana (almeno in una versione delle sue origini, come per Ganesh del resto) è sicuramente di buon auspicio e quella coincidenza dei comics che tanto adoro, heh.

Madooooo quando King scrive così mi fa dimenticare tutte le sue cazzate precedenti, non mi fa più ridere quando lo presentano come "l'Eisner Award writer" di sto cazz o meglio...sai che lo ha vinto, ma non sai per cosa, perchè non è quello che importa, vero? WRONG!

Sono le storie che contano!
È inutile essere accompagnati da dei A-List writers se dopo si sfornano merdacce come Heroes in Crisis, là l'unico MVP era Mann, altre volte è un Jorge Fornés, Fabok, Doc Shaner, Bilquis Evely, Walta e ora è aiutato da Sampere but that's it...questa è una di quelle volte dove anche lui fa la sua parte, sta facendo per WW ciò che fece per Superman con Up in the Sky, Tie-in di Darkseid War per Hal, Vision per Vision, Mister Miracle per Mister Miracle, Woman of Tomorrow per Kara, non è King a parlare e allo stesso tempo è assolutamente King a parlare!

Lo studio del character, the vision is clear, Diana is many things but just ONE Woman...A Wonder of a Woman!

E adoro...semplicemente ADORO quando questi pg si fossilizzano su ciò che sia giusto e diventano fottutamente cocciuti, STUBBORN come se non ci fosse un domani, perchè non c'è...non se si sacrificano i propri ideali, cause without them?

E gli eroi DC rigettano tutto questo.
