Fresh new start.

Mi gira il cazz per come sia andata a finire con Jeremy Adams, grazie a lui The Flash...ok, in realtà è da almeno dal Rebirth che è una delle mie testate preferite, anyway, era dannatamente wholesome, mi farò consolare dal suo Green Lantern e ovviamente la mini con Jay Garrick...The OG Flash!

Non posso prendermela certamente con Spurrier, come writer spacca, il suo breve storyarc sulla Justice League faceva pena, ma meglio dimenticare quel dettaglio...l'eccezione che conferma la regola and all that, infatti...

Infatti questo numero era una BOMBA!
La cosa che ho apprezzato di più è tutto il rispetto mostrato per la run precedente, tant'è che a momenti sembrava davvero di leggere un altro numero scritto da Adams, giustamente Spurrier riprende i plot-points legati alla famiglia, le varie dinamiche comiche, ma anche il supportive cast con Mister Terrific, d'altronde il lavoro di world-building di Jeremy non poteva essere buttato via...

Deodato è sempre tanta roba, ma...heh, col passare degli anni ha perso qualche colpo...

Altra cosa che ho adorato è come Spurrier abbia parlato della Speed Force, cioè...this is it, sotto diversi aspetti siamo dalle parti dello Shakti/La Forza di SW e poi il modo in cui ha legato tutto con un tocco horror? Nice!

Bella partenza e Spurrier è uno di quei writer che ha tanto da dare in casa DC, quindi non posso certo lamentarmi.

Altro numero molto interessante, Spurrier non sta facendo solo un grande lavoro di world-building, ma proprio di LORE-building e ovviamente sta usando forse IL pg più giusto in assoluto per quanto riguarda il DCU, cioè difficilmente lo sarà la trinità o un Aquaman, mentre i Flash? I Lanterns? hehehe!

Sempre bello per me poter raggiungere quel momento in cui...semplicemente riesco a riconoscere un writer dal suo writing, è sempre una questione di X numeri, un numero che non è mai fisso per poter inquadrare uno scrittore, ma con Spurrier i'm finally here!

Sta facendo un gran bel lavoro su Flash, ma proprio con l'intera Flash Family, ha reso interessante anche i figli di Wally, nice!

Recuperato fino al #4 e attendo con ansia il pacco con il #5! 

Ammetto che con Spurrier c'è stato uno stacco netto sia a livello di testi (cacchio ma quanta voglia ha di scrivere?!) che di complessità di trama. Molto buone le basi che ha gettato e a pelle sento molto la minaccia che incombe per Wally, soprattutto sul piano affettivo.

Tutto più "maturo", bene così!
