a me sto All Star Batman mi sta un po' facendo storcere il naso. Mi sembra un po' un Eternal nel suo tentativo di sbattere ai lettori quanti più personaggi possibili presi dal passato del Cavaliere Oscuro

Premetto che ancora non l'ho letto, però per me invece questa è la cosa vincente. Abbiamo un mucchio di villains poco o mal sfruttati nella storia di Bats, in questa maniera si da spazio a tutti e si fanno conoscere ai nuovi lettori vecchi nemici.

Con i giusti compromessi da accettare a me la trama non dispiace.
La cosa che invece non riuscirò mai ad apprezzare sono i volti di Romita Junior.

This series has quickly carved out a niche for itself by offering a wackier take on Batman's world. There's plenty more Mad Max-style carnage to go around in this chapter, with Batman and Two-Face teaming up to deal with the one-man army that is KGBeast. The over-the-top approach continues to serve the book well, taking full advantage of John Romita, Jr.'s talent for spectacle and rendering violent, blood-soaked fisticuffs. But what truly makes this issue work is its ability to build a strong emotional link between Bruce and Harvey. Scott Snyder is redefining their relationship in a new and unexpected way. Romita's art shines all the more in the sentimental flashback scenes, aided greatly by Dean White's sun-drenched colors. I'm almost surprised at how much I enjoy the Romita/White partnership here, given that usually White's colors don't mesh well with Romita's art. Throw in the return of a fan-favorite Batman character and an increased role for Duke, and this issue serves as a new benchmark for the still-young series. -Jesse

Che abbiano gusti strani va bene, ma per dare 9,4 (che vuol dire "una delle migliori storie di sempre") a All Star devono essere ubriachi.
