Dennis Hopeless and Mark Bagley were off to a strong start with their first two issues of All-New X-Men, but this third issue is an ugly early stumble for the series. The biggest problem is that the story moves at a wonky pace - actions happen both too quickly and too slowly to be believed, dialogue fails to flow as all the characters are yelling over each other, and the art fails to keep track of character whereabouts from panel to panel. Hopeless also makes the commendable mistake of trying to make the Ghosts of Cyclops relatable, as nice a gesture as it is, it fails to make any of those villains feel real. Hopeless and Bagley have shown a strong sense of story, character, and purpose in their first two issues so hopefully this issue is just a growing pain. –Levi

Lo speech di Scott era "carino" però vediamo di rendere la testata un po' dark, perchè così non piace molto

Al momento tra Extraordinary X-Men che è una bomba,Old Man Logan,All New Wolverine e Uncanny X-Men questa serie imho non ha senso di esistere, per me potrebbero tenersi solo Jean Grey e gli altri ciao ciao.

Dennis Hopeless and Mark Bagley's All New X-Men #3 actually feels like classic X-Men with a classic lineup, but it's missing an edge. Hopeless's script bounces along nicely and the writer is able to capture the voices of the time-displaced mutants without playing down to readers or mangling youth culture. Beyond that, the story doesn't offer much more to chew on. Even with Cyclops' speech, which echoes contemporary news stories of police force against its younger citizens, doesn't offer much in regards to the national discussion. Mark Bagley is doing fine work here, as well but his straightforward approach to the script doesn't dazzle the reader. All-New X-Men #3 is an energetic romp that will satiate X-fans and, at least, leave readers entertained.
