La Marvel Knights Animation è una sottodivisione della Marvel Animation che realizza serie in motion-comic (letteralmente fumetti animati) distribuiti in home video, tramite Itunes e altre piattaforme a pagamento. Le serie prodotte sono:

Prodotti di questo tipo mi fanno letteralmente impazzire.
Questa tecnica di realizzazione è a dir poco fantastica. Una perfetta sintesi fra il fumetto e l'animazione.
Un omaggio sincero all'opera che prende vita nella sua integrità, rispettando il lavoro del disegnatore, e anzi realizzando praticamente ciò che l'autore ha avuto in mente mentre realizzava le tavole.
Lavori così mi fanno capire praticamente cos'è veramente che vorrei fare nella mia vita :wub:
E pensare che ho scoperto tutto ciò 5 min fa...
E io che, leggendo il titolo del topic, speravo fosse l'annuncio di una serie animata ispirata all'etichetta Marvel Knights, usata dalla Marvel nei primi anni 2000 per indicare i suoi fumetti "per adulti". :cry:

Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers: la lotta fratricida in quattro episodi
Loki di Robert Rodi ed Esad Ribic è una graphic novel che tratta l'origine dell'astio del dio dell'inganno nei confronti del fratellastro Thor.
Partendo da questa miniserie Marvel Knight Animation ha sviluppato quattro episodi animati in computer grafica dal titolo Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers.
Il produttore Ruwan Jayatilleke si è detto entuasiasta del lavoro svolto, nato da un eccellente materiale di partenza, e si dichiara onorato di aver lavorato con il team di sviluppo formato dai talenti creativi degli studios Magnetic Dreams (animazione), Edge Studio (doppiaggio), Underground Music (musiche) e NYAV (studi di registrazione).
I quattro episodi saranno disponibili, settimanalmente, per il download sulle piattaforme Itunes, XboxLIVE e PlayStation®Network; il costo è di $1,99 a episodio per la versione con definizione standard e di $2,99€ per la versione in alta definizione.
Il primo episodio sarà disponibile da lunedì 28 marzo; i restanti tre i successivi mercoledì a partire dal 6 aprile.
