Tom Hardy, in quanto attore, da due piste pure a gente come Robert Downej Jr, Samuel L. Jackson, Edward Norton, Robert Redford, per dire i primi che mi vengono in mente?

Secondo me si tende a esagerare, 'manco agli spettatori entrassero euri nelle tasche... io sostengo sempre che questo è un mercato libero, se si è convinti di saper fare di meglio (e questo vale dai fumetti ai film, da attori a scrittori a produttori) perché non provarci?

Downey Jr. e Jackson sono faccette dentro e fuori i film Marvel la maggior parte delle volte, Norton e Redford hanno dato due delle performance più dimenticabili delle loro carriere (oh Redford col freno a mano è sempre Redford ma preferisco un attore che dia corpo al tutto).
Tom Hardy è in ascesa libera da anni a questa parte (poi io tifo per lui a prescindere perché mi piace come attore ma vabbè soggusti).

Quanto al provarci posso lanciare un topic di fantacinefumetto tipo fantacalcio

(Poi siamo stati smentiti più e più volte sul fatto che attori che non c'entrassero una pippa col personaggio rendessero grandi interpretazioni)

Cumberbatch secondo me ci starebbe benissimo  Hardy dovrebbe asciugarsi notevolmente ma di viso ci potrebbe stare (oltre al talento che hanno entrambi in dosi massicce).
Leto no, per favore, mi verrebbe da tifare per Dormammu.

E' appena uscita la notizia che il film uscirà nelle sale l'8 luglio 2016! 

DOCTOR STRANGE Set for July 8, 2016; Will Likely Shoot in the U.K.

The Doctor Strange release date has finally been revealed.  Among Marvel's Phase Three films, we know that Ant-Man is set for July 17, 2015, Captain America 3 will be released on May 6, 2016, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will open on July 28, 2017.  But in between Captain America 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Marvel has two more dates on their schedule: July 8, 2016 and May 5, 2017.  It has now been confirmed that Doctor Strange will be released on July 8, 2016, which isn't too surprising considering a director, Scott Derrickson, is already on board and a "2016″ date has been rumored for some time.

According to Screen Daily, Marvel is in "advanced negotiations" with the U.K.'s Pinewood-Shepperton Studio to shoot the movie in late 2014/early 2015.  I would be surprised if this deal didn't come together since Marvel shot at Shepperton for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thor: The Dark World, to name a few.  Pinewood also has a positive relationship with Marvel's parent company Disney, and is currently playing host to Star Wars: Episode VII and Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass.
For those who need a brief refresher on Doctor Strange, he's a "former neurosurgeon who serves as the Sorcerer Supreme – the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats."

Notizia | 01/10/2014 ( ore 13:15 ) : Arrivano nuovi rumor online sull'atteso kolossal dei Marvel Studios dedicato al Dottor Strange. Stando al sito This Is Infamous, la Marvel avrebbe ingaggiato l'attore Ethan Hawke per il ruolo del protagonista nel film in arrivo a luglio 2016.
Stando a questi rumor (ancora non confermati), la Marvel non sarebbe riuscita a stipulare un contratto con Joaquin Phoenix, e, costretta a cercare un 'rimpiazzo', si è rivolta ad Hawke il quale, entusiasta, ha - secondo il report - "già accettato il ruolo questo week-end" e, adesso, inizieranno le discussioni contrattuali che lo porteranno a firmare ufficialmente; la Marvel spera di averlo a bordo per sei film. Sebbene sia solo un rumor, non sarebbe tanto 'campato in aria': Hawke ha infatti già lavorato con il regista Scott Derrickson per 'Sinister', uscito nel 2013.

Phoenix ha rifiutato sembra che Strange sarà interpretato da Hawke, visivamente ci sta, dobbiamo vedere come rende sullo schermo però.

purtroppo lui è bravissimo ma a) non ce lo vedo nel ruolo, b) lo avrei visto decisamente meglio come cattivo che come eroe.

e poi cazzo doveva fare BRAINIAC in Justice League! marvel maledetta!!
