Daredevil #2 (Published by Marvel Comics; Review by Justin Partridge, III; 'Rama Rating: 9 out of 10) :

Its the unstoppable force meets the immovable object this month in the pages of Daredevil as Matt Murdock runs afoul of San Francisco's resident superhero, The Shroud. Mark Waid pulls a character from the vaults to offer a stark contrast to Matt as Daredevil's star is on the rise in SF and The Shroud's has long since fallen, leaving him in destitution. Its a very interesting dynamic to offer this early in the series and more than a match for Daredevil as he strives to make his mark in San Francisco. Chris Samnee wows as per usual, contrasting the bright, hopeful new beginning of Matt's life with the hardscrabble, dingy life of The Shroud. Samnee also loads down The Shroud's origin scenes with heavy dread and menace offering another juxtaposition to Daredevil's high flying, carefree sensibility. The team of Waid and Samnee are at the top of their game still in this new volume of Daredevil and from the looks of #2, it will be a long time before there is a lull.

Avevo letto metà della run di Waid per poi fermarmi ma recupererò tutto appena uscirà l' ultimo volume cartonato, bhè devo dire che Waid riesce a gestire questa serie sempre alla grandissima, emana una freschezza che ti conquista, è scritta in maniera brillante e Samnee ai disegni è veramente la ciliegina.
Certo però devo dire che mi son perso qualcosina con il finale della prima run di Waid quindi faccio due domande:

Perfetto Clod chiarissimo Recupererò sicuramente la prima parte delle storie di Waid, intanto mi godo questo nuovo inizio! Il livello delle storie resta comunque pazzesco.

Ottimo anche il secondo numero, Waid inizia a imbastire le prime trame e a farci conoscere i villain che Matt si ritrova a San Francisco Sembra un' avversario tosto, vediamo come se la caverà il cornetto! Samnee fantastico come sempre ai disegni, arte allo stato puro.

Daredevil #3 (Published by Marvel Comics; Review by David Pepose; 'Rama Rating: 8 out of 10):

Mark Waid makes the Owl the scariest he's ever been in the latest issue of Daredevil, as he and artist Chris Samnee continue to produce rock-solid work as Matt Murdock struggles to adjust to San Francisco. Not only do Waid and Samnee kill it with the claustrophobic reintroduction of the Owl, but they excel with Daredevil's fight against the Shroud, with one great panel featuring Matt's radar sense - followed by a wrecking ball of a punch. Combine this with some nice soap operatic subplots featuring the fate of Matt's one-time law partner Foggy Nelson, and there's a lot for invested readers. The one downside? There's not a whole lot of spark for new readers, which is strange, given Daredevil's new locale. But for the devoted, this book continues to be a devilish delight.
