The nominees for this year's Eisner Awards were announced Thursday evening, with DC Comics leading the pack among publishers with 14 nominations between their DC Comics, Vertigo and (now-defunct) WildStorm imprints.

Archaia's Return of the Dapper Men earned the most nominations of any single work; a total of five: "Best Publication for Teens," "Best Graphic Album-New," "Best Writer" for Jim McCann, "Best Painter/Multimedia Artist (interior art)" for Janet K. Lee, and "Best Publication Design" for Todd Klein.

beh, si tratta pur sempre della casa editrice che vende di più. Lo so che non è sinonimo di qualità, però alcune serie Marvel nuove sono davvero belle (ad esempio manca S.H.I.E.L.D.).

ma Chew com'è? Mi sembra che abbia vinto pure l'anno scorso.

Sarei curioso di leggere The Marvelous Land of Oz, ma la Panini non sembra volermi accontentare...

Comunque sono contento che abbiamo vinto Tardi e Guarnido, che da soli sono più bravi del 90% degli autori americani, anche se probabilmente a loro di questo premio non gli importa molto...
