@Reeko Tra il 95 e i primi 2000 la relazione tra Bats ed Azrael (JPV però, non Michael Lane, quest'ultimo è stato nemico di Bat-Dick) era buona, con il secondo che prendeva ordini dal primo (sui primi numeri di Gotham Knights ricordo qualcosa del genere).

A quanto a detto Seijic c'è stato qualche errore di comunicazione tra la dc e gli autori, i primi due numeri erano già pronti ma qualcosa all'interno delle storie andava contro la continuity, per cui dovranno rifare tutto da capo.
Al momento l'uscita del #1 è fissata al 12 Settembre.

Guarda che merda...già al terzo numero sono costretti a cambiare artist per quella cazzata che hanno combinato con i primi due numeri.
Però dai, almeno stanno cercando di sfornare in fretta i numeri successivi cambiando artist, poi per come la vedo io, non era indispensabile partire proprio con Sejic, potevano accelerare ancor di più facendo ridisegnare i primi due numeri a due artists differenti con Sejic che si porta avanti col #3 in poi...

When the initial preview images came out and we saw the lineup for Odyssey it was anyone's guess how they were going to fit together. But Josh Williamson does a pretty good job of making it clearer coming out of the resolution of Justice League: No Justice. The most impressive work Williamson does here is with his characters. Jessica Cruz, Cyborg and Starfire all feel really authentic and their dynamic is fun to read. Azarel is a weird addition to the cast but he's got a wildcard quality to him that look to make the future fun for this squad. And Darkseid is larger than life and a character that's hard to trust. Williamson gives us just a glimpse of him and it should be enough to hook readers for at least the first arc. Stjepan Sejic's art really underlines the character work that Willaimson is doing but he does come across as somewhat inconsistent. There's a marked difference in his linework at certain points where it comes across as oddly sketchy while the coloring looks quite intentional and put together. I think it works overall but certain pages definitely have a more completel feel than others. All in all, Odyssey is a surprisingly solid debut.

Quello legato a Darkseid non è male, maaa purtroppo ho già capito che -come solitamente Williamson tende a fare- cercherà di giocarsela per un beeel po', quindi probabilmente la storyline principale verrà ripresa sempre da lui o meglio riprenderà tutto Abnett, ma sarà Williamson a raccontare il pezzo forte... chissà quando...
Avevo hype per quella infatti, LA ragione per cui non vedevo l'ora di poter leggere JLO.
Quindi fortuna che manca ancora un solo numero e poi avremo Abnett! :D

Ho fatto un recuperone fino al #18.
Ero restio a iniziarla, ma devo dire che anche se ha dei punti deboli ci sono davvero tanti spunti interessanti: lo sviluppo misterioso del ghost sector, il ritorno di Darkseid e questa Jessica decisamente più coriacea rispetto alla ragazzina impaurita che mi son dovuto sorbire sui primi 50 numeri di lanterna verde rinascita.
Peccato per alcuni personaggi tranquillamente evitabili come

È giunto il momento di dare valore a gente loyal come Abnett e Venditti, anche loro possono creare grandi eventi, questa roba su JLO è molto più creativa di tutto quello che sta facendo Snyder in Death Metal, ovvero riciclare altre storie.

Ultimo numero.
Bellissima gestione di Abnett, ha fatto un grandissimo lavoro ad elevare una testata praticamente e completamente fottuta dalla DC.
Invece di diventare un aborto post-Williamson/Sejic con piani riguardo un Yuga Khan libero dalla Source Wall grazie a Metal, per non parlare di Brainiac II, ormai scomparso e ritornato nel dimenticatoio insieme alla LE.G.I.O.N. (mazza che spreco!) arriva il buon Abnett con una bombastica storia con un badass Darkseid e una ancora più badass Jess!
Ha settato delle bellissime basi per una guerra universale DC, ma con Death Metal fra le palle non so se la questione verrà ripresa, peccato...
Ora non so dove finirà Abnett, ma spero di poterlo ancora leggere.
Ottimo, presto mi leggo il vol.3, magari aspetto che si avvicini la data del quarto e ultimo volume (fine marzo 2021) :sisi:
