Mi sono quasi messo in pari con questa testata più per stare al passo con la continuity che per vero piacere di leggere perché...

...spero che tutta questa roba venga retconnata al più presto. 

A parte che Snyder (e i suoi delfini) li trovo molto peggiorati.

La scrittura la trovo anche abbastanza sciatta, riproponendo sempre gli stessi elementi:

- dialoghi tipo "È un'energia che non ho mai sperimentato prima!", "È fuori da ogni scala!", "Non ce la posso fare, posso resistere solo un secondo, non oltre!", "Resisti, ce la puoi fare!". Ogni. Singola. Volta.

- la tendenza a rendere tutto "trash" financo nei materiali utilizzati per gli oggetti: non legno, marmo, roccia... ma invece abbiamo vetro ottenuto da una stella gigante bianca, marmo ottenuto comprimendo la nebulosa di sto cazzo, uno scettro ottenuto dalla fusione della uallera d'oro.

- sistemi di sicurezza degli edifici esageratamente complesse (fossato di lava, sistemi firewall anti Mr. Robot, strato di materiale astruso [vedi punto precedente], tocco di magia protettiva... e poi all'occorrenza la gente entra o esce manco fosse la fiera dei Mercatini di Natale il 23 dicembre.

- questa tendenza a voler strizzare l'occhio a elementi del DC Universe ma con citazioni fini a se stesse (vedi Darkseid autista, le scene ambientate nel lontano passato o futuro, l'Anti-Monitor usato in Metal....). Quando si vanno a toccare certe cose è necessario avere una visione di insieme, non buttare lì la scena per gasare il lettore... perché magari sorride anche in quel momento, ma sul lungo termine è controproducente.

- la necessità di spararla sempre più grossa. Puoi scrivere storie belle e interessanti anche stando sulla Terra (perfino in una città  ). QUi abbiamo un Multiverso di possibilità che sono state a malapena toccate... che bisogno c'è di andare a rompere la Source Wall e alzare sempre di più il tiro? Poi con questa nuova mitologia che a me non piace per niente (e questo è un parere personale) ma che va anche a contraddire e sminuire quello che c'è stato prima. Come detto prima, serve una grossa visione di insieme. Qui invece mi sembra di vedere buttare dentro elementi sempre più "grandi" giusto per sfruttare il momento.


Ma soprattutto non mi piace la poetica che ci sta alla base. Quando sali di livello e vai alle dimensioni superiori, trovo sia più azzeccato giocare con la natura dell'universo DC in quanto fatto da storie. Vedi il concetto di Metaverse in DClock. O come è stato fatto in Crisi Finale.
O il concetto di Universo che si difende da solo con i propri anticorpi-supereroi.
Qui tutta sta storia di universo che è nato in un modo, ma che poi è stato sistemato, adesso si rilasciano di nuovo le sette energie usate per fare la torta della nonna all'inizio della creazione... non so, non mi ritrovo per niente.

Il compito dello scrittore è farti stare incollato alle pagine... Non farti alzare gli occhi al cielo ad ogni vignetta.

Se questo fosse uno pseudo-sneak-peek di una eventuale testata sulla JSA gestita da Snyder, allora siamo fottuti...
Tutto era tremendamente banale.
Persino i momenti creati fra i 2 Flash e GLs.
Per quanto riguarda Kamandi, ho sempre visto l'appeal di quel pg, ma come me non ha mai cliccato, quindi...i ain't triggered.

Twist finale che mi ha lasciato freddo.

P.S. Basta usare i pg One Million in questa maniera...

Una volta compresa la natura di una storia come DClock...non ha più senso parlare di queste cose.

Justice League #31 (Published by DC; Review by Justin Partridge; 'Rama Rating: 9 out of 10):

The Justice/Doom War gets theoretical (not to mention a hell of a lot of fun) in Justice League #31. Dividing the team between the past, present, and future and teaming them with major DC icons along the way, writers Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV start ratcheting up the tension as the forces of light and dark continue their hunt for the building blocks of the universe. The mythic storytelling concerning the Monitors does, admittedly, get a bit techno-babble at times, but the sheer scale and big superhero energy of the arc cannot be denied. Nor can the tremendous and sumptuously colored artwork of Jorge Jimenez and Alejandro Sanchez, both of whom bounce well from era-to-era with voluminous pencils and expressively cool character models. Though I am not sure just how much bigger the Justice/Doom War could get, Justice League #31 continues the title's streak of splashy, mythic storytelling.

Nah, non è pane per i loro denti, Snyder semplicemente non sa scrivere storie epiche, e sta usando pg come Anti-Monitor, Monitor, JSA, Kamandi, robe come la Source Wall, Hypertime ecc...

Il finale poi...mi ha ricordato CW II di Bendis, con Thanos con una pistola, detto tutto.

Readers looking for fast-paced bombast and lots of fan service will likely find plenty to enjoy in Justice League #32; however, this ultimately suffers from attempting to do too much within too short a span of time. In terms of what works, we see Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV move the plot of their epic story forward and prepare for the major showdown with Luthor and his Legion. Similarly, longtime fans will enjoy the wink-and-nod moments when Flash and Green Lantern run into and work alongside the 1940s JSA. Unfortunately, the multiple storylines never really have sufficient time to develop fully beyond a collection of exciting moments filled with expository crib notes. Howard Porter and Hi-Fi's line and color art captures Snyder and Tynion's enthusiasm for the action, and the expressive shots and coloring help balance out the sometimes text-heavy exposition.

Lo snyder di questa jl è un folle, fa una confusione assurda introducendo ogni numero elementi nuovi, ma che sono sconnessi tra di loro. Faccio veramente fatica a tenere il punto della situazione...
