Primo capitolo di Bendis, e devo dire che sono rimasto soddisfatto, le premesse sono buone.
Curioso di vedere cosa ha in mente il vecchio Bendis.
Era normale che inserisse Naomi, una sua creatura, finche' lo fa con una bella storia, non c'e' nulal da dire.
In coda 10 pagine della JLD di RAM V, anch'essa molto promettente da quel poco che si vede.

Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes launches in January 2022

As briefly revealed in September, DC has made Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes official.

The six-issue limited series launches January 11, 2022, and as expected, is written by current Justice League monthly series writer and the most recent Legion of Super-Heroes series writer Brian Michael Bendis.

Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes will be illustrated by Scott Godlewski.

The limited series seems something of a prelude to whatever Darkseid has cooking as revealed on the last page of Infinite Frontier #6, the event's finale.
According to DC, both the contemporary Justice League and the Legion from 1000 years in the future discover both of their realities are falling to a "great darkness" simultaneously so in true comic book superhero fashion they team up to stop it.

Interestingly, although DC's description says the superhero teams team-up, the official title is "vs."

Hmmm... We'll see how the plays out as we get closer to release.

DC also promises a connection to the Great Darkness and the new Gold Lanterns Bendis introduced during his Legion run.

The Great Darkness is a call-back to the classic 1982 Legion of Super-Heroes story featuring Darkseid, 'The Great Darkness Saga' by writer Paul Levitz and artist Keith Giffen, which is one of the most highly-regarded DC story arcs of all time.

Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes will feature a cover by Godlewski and a variant cover by Travis Moore.

Uno aspetta 11 numeri prima di leggere la run di un writer sperando di gustarsi un piatto nuovo, now granted le mie aspettattive erano basse but still...non mi aspettavo la solita minestra riscaldata...

Wonder Comics, Naomi, Superman, Checkmate e visto le future solicits, pure la LOSH.
In poche parole, chi ha letto i precedenti lavori di Bendis in casa DC, si trova davanti "More of the same shit."

E poi, che dire, sempre sia maledetta la fottuta decompressione di Bendis e le sue capacità nello storytelling.

Messo in pari con la serie. Bah. Carina, ma finita lì. Purtroppo alla fine si sono confermati un po' i miei timori, Bendis con la DC c'entra poco. Ci hanno messo anche del loro, 578489573497 serie su Batman e mai una a Brian. Freccia Verde naviga nel letame da non so quanti anni, ma niente. Vabbè.

Ha fatto Batman Universo che tra i tantissimi lavori mediocri degli ultimi anni è risultata forse una delle storie più godibili, ma comunque aveva un Batman più da silver age che non un Batman urbano.

Batman è il personaggio di punta, se non vende lui o rovini lui crolla la baracca intera, guarda già solo con King che non ci hanno pensato due volte a toglierlo dalla regolare perchè erano calate un po' le vendite e al suo posto hanno messo un Tynion che faceva il competino con tanta azione che alla fine basta all'utenza di riferimento del personaggio.

Poi girava voce che Bendis avesse timore a scrivere Batman, ma su questo non ho mai creduto sinceramente.

Batmam Universo non lo considero neanche, come dici è un'operazione fine a sé stessa. Mi lascia un po' così il fatto che Batman è ormai in ogni fumetto DC e ha svariate testate + miniserie. Affidare qualcosa a uno come Bendis che ci sguazza in quelle atmosfere pareva brutto?
Idem Ollie, assolutamente nelle sue corde e personaggio ormai irriconoscibile a causa dei tanti pesci in faccia che ha preso da quando è uscito quell'abominio di Arrow. Perché non rilanciarlo?

A me Bendis non piace, ma come dissi al suo arrivo l'avrei provato proprio su Freccia Verde e Nightwing, non su Superman dove a me stava piacendo Jurgens (mentre Tomasi dopo una buona partenza mi appariva in calo, ma comunque entrambi avevano gestioni pronte per arrivare a 100 numeri...).

Però la DC non so quanto gliene freghi di Freccia Verde, è un personaggio che come per Hawkman ogni tanto buttano fuori, ma se ne fregano altamente. Stessa cosa per Martian Manhunter... nell'ultimo periodo poi peggio che peggio.

Le mini su Batman hanno iniziato a diventare tantissime negli ultimi tempi, dopo che Bendis aveva floppato su Superman/Action Comics, il mio parere è che da lì in poi non lo volessero più e l'abbiano buttato giusto su JL per dargli tempo di finire l'esclusiva e togliersi dalle scatole.

Pazzesco che Bendis si sia messo a raccontare una storiella del genere...
A quanto pare non sente nessuna pressione a scrivere una ongoing come la Justice League.

Nessuno sentirà la sua mancanza e sono già curioso di scoprire chi lo seguirà...Williamson? Ma solo se porta avanti la sua roba cosmica.
