Transformers/Ghostbusters #1 (Published by IDW Publishing; Review by Justin Partridge; 'Rama Rating: 7 out of 10):

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of both franchises comes the debut of Transformers/Ghostbusters. Helmed by longtime Ghostbusters creative team Erik Burnham, Dan Schoening and Luis Antonio Delgado, this debut supposes a sort of "secret history" the bots have had with the supernatural, positing that it was actually Gozer the Gozerian that destroyed Cybertron and not the endless Autobot/Decepticon war. They even go a step further with the introduction of Eck, a new Autobot scientist who finds himself mixed up with the Prime IDW Ghostbuster team. Much of this issue is dedicated to expository dialogue setting up these turns, but the classic tone and look of the IDW Ghostbusters comics is still very much there. Also Schoening and Delgado prove themselves worthy of the kind of scale that comes with doing Transformers comics, staging Eck as a hilariously huge new member of the Ghostbusters while the team battle the titanically sized ghost of Starscream. (Yeah, you heard me.) A fun start for a hopefully fun anniversary crossover.

Qui c'è Masterpiece 10 Optimus Prime in repaint a tema, si chiama "Ecto-35" in onore del 35esimo anniversario dei Transformers che cade quest'anno.

La seconda l'avevo vista già, ma l'esclusiva per il SDCC è stupenda.
Non l'avrei mai detto prima, ma vedrei una serie sui Transformers alle prese con il soprannaturale.

Beh con il soprannaturale magari no, o non come tema principale, ma in quanto brand sci-fi (perlomeno quando viene inteso bene e da autori capaci) si sono visti elementi di Fanta-horror o di space Fantasy, nel corso degli anni.

Comunque, il Masterpiece 10 Optimus Prime (detto Masterpiece Optimus Prime 2.0) è un TF stupendo, e questa è l'ennesima versione in cui viene riproposto, in attesa dell'imminente versione 3.0 di prossima uscita.
