Reborn features one of the more ambitious concepts in a Mark Millar comic, which is why it's so frustrating that the series seems unconcerned with really exploring the bigger themes of life, death and reincarnation. Reborn has devolved into a very straightforward fantasy comic involving characters traveling from point A to B to C. The reincarnation angle seems to matter less and less as time goes on. Nor is there much dramatic significance to the stops along the destination in this issue. It doesn't feel as if Bonnie or her father are particularly affected by the ordeals they face here. More than ever, it's the creative fusion of artist Greg Capullo, inker Jonathan Glapion and colorist FCO Plascencia that carries the day. Capullo fires on all cylinders in this issue, from fight choreography to striking character designs to his use of light and shadow to wrangling emotion out of a surprisingly emotionless script. This issue allows Capullo to flex his horror muscle a bit more, and fans of his Spawn work will be especially pleased with the results. -Jesse

Concordo con il tuo giudizio.
Per me Millar è da tempo che ha perso lo smalto. Questa serie avrebbe potuto essere davvero divertente, invece è parecchio noiosa e per questo non esito a tagliarla senza pietà.

Confermo sempre le mie impressioni. Un altro numero un po' pacco, ormai siamo alla fine e, se ci sarà una seconda stagione, non sono sicuro che la leggerò

Letto l'ultimo numero del primo libro ( Millar nell'intervista a fine numero ha detto che ne ha previsti addirittura 5  ) ...che dire, è stata una serie piacevole ma poco altro .                                                                                 
La vicenda si svolge troppo velocemente senza i giusti approfondimenti sulle regole del "gioco", mi ha dato proprio l'idea che tante cose accadano così perché si , senza una spiegazione precisa .                         
Buoni i disegni di Capullo , anche se li preferivo e di parecchio su Batman

Non so se continuerò a seguirla in futuro , con i tempi di Millar poi chissà quanto ci vorrà

Reborn has one of the stronger elevator pitches of the various Millarworld books. The main point of frustration with this series is that that it hasn't attempted to exploit the concept to its fullest. This may be a story about what happens after death and how the dead can still reach out to the living, but for the most part it just plays like a story about a woman being whisked to a fantasy realm and finding out she's the chosen one. This final issue is satisfying enough in that context, with Bonnie being pushed to her limits in the final battle to free the afterlife from the tyranny of the Black Messiah. And there are some strong, poignant character moments along the way. But again, it feels like Millar and Capullo could have done more with their story. Reborn's biggest selling point has been and continues to be its artwork, with Capullo rendering a wonderfully detailed and vivid fantasy universe. This issue teases more to come for the series, but the creators might need to work on fleshing out the universe first. -Author

Il 6 se lo prende, ma anche qui sembra che succeda tutto troppo velocemente. Mi ha un po' deluso questo primo libro
